About two years ago I had a series of mid-afternoon meetings in Orange County. Rather than sit on the freeway for 3 hours in a vain attempt to get home I would take a copy of "Seabuiscut" to the Plaza Inn and sit in the western sun room with a cup of coffee and read until the traffic would die down. It was wonderful to sit and read in those elegant surroundings, overlooking the hub and castle as the sun set and all the show lights came up. What could have been better?
I love balconies of the gallery and the "hidden" alleys of NOS, especially that little corner by Bat en Rouge with with the curved staircase. Carnation Cafe is my number one choice for enjoying a favorite breakfast AND people-watching as families stroll up and down Main Street. Once set my camera on a tripod and did a stationary 60-second video of the view there. Its really serene.
I'm still figuring it out, but I kinda like sitting by the river.
Good morning, son
In twenty years from now
Maybe we'll both sit down and have a few beers
And I can tell you 'bout today
And how I picked you up and everything changed
It was pain
Sunny days and rain
I knew you'd feel the same things...
