Re: Will Dumbo Fly over the Castle during Fireworks display again?

When I visited the resort in May of 2011, I saw Dumbo several times. It still amazes me what they do with the music, the fireworks display, and the characters soaring above the crowd.

From perusing the Disneyland schedule, Dumbo is put out to pasture when the Halloween season begins Sept 13 and Wishes begins its run (on weekends) with Halloween Screams going off on the the nights of the separate admission Halloween parties.

Reason for not seeing Dumbo - watching grown men buckle and sob like babies. The Baby Mine song accompanying Dumbo's appearance is heartbreaking.

Good to know! Thank you! And you are totally right about the sobbing part....Dumbo brings tears to my eyes just thinking about him flying up above!

Dumbo is beening replace by Buzz Lightyear flying. Back on topic thoug. Dumbo has been repoping back the last three times that I have been there but last month he was a no show but Tink was. I have notes though the ears on Dumbo don't really move like they use to. I think he's still having trobules flying.

It's simple touches like Tinkerbell/Dumbo castle fly-overs that warm the heart and become an enriching life experience.

I just hope Ironman, Dumbo and Tink don't accidentally collide!

I saw both Tink and Dumbo flying during the fireworks show when I saw it on August 22. Hopefully it'll be the same for you!

He flew on July 21st. I was absolutely amazed!

My daughter sings "Baby Mine" to her daughter as a lullaby. Makes me cry! (My favorite lullaby is "Stay Awake" from Mary Poppins.)
