Question Should More Rides have a Single Riders line?

Would be cool if Space Mountain had one

Two-seater rides are a little more problematic for SR. You're a LOT more likely to get "Could you please not sit me in close quarters with a stranger who will be thrown against me repeatedly (and vice versa) for the next five minutes?" than you would on something with wider seats.

There's also the cost of retrofitting an existing structure with Single Rider lines. It's not horrid, but it's something to consider.

I think Tower of Terror could use one, every time I go in there they are asking for single riders.

This. I think a slightly longer wait is worth keeping gondolas with only one single party.
In the quest for quality, I have no problem with the characters footing the bill.

If anything, I'd prefer fewer single riders lines. A less isolated Disneyland makes for a happier place. Plus, the general waiting time would increase for everyone.

Uhh wait what? Adding in single riders to a nearly-full vehicle makes for a "less isolated" Disneyland because it forces people to open up. It reduces wait time because the single riders who would normally be in the regular stand-by line are now in a separate queue.

I was referring to the isolated stand-by lines being the isolated factors that slow the the rides....not the rides themselves being more isolated and less social

SR actually makes standby shorter by taking single people who would normally be in the regular lune and sending them in otherwise empty seats

On rides where it makes sense for a single rider, sure no problem there. But no, not SM or BTM or any rides where the seating is two to a seat where you're in close proximities and being thrown against someone else. I know there are people who want SM because it's a popular attraction with long wait times but oh well, gonna have to suck it up and wait.

Doesn't California Screamin have a single riders line? That ride is 2 seater.

Goofy Sky School has single rider. And you are in very close proximity to other people being thrown around.

Why not? They seat multiple parties in the same gondola anyways. Disneyland updater Mint Crocodile went on the Fun Wheel every week single to take photos of Cars Land construction and such, and he said that he was usually placed with another party.
