I had to bring some of Disney home.

Combining two of my favorite past times....

    Movie props and Disney....

Just finished this. Hangs on the entrance to my daughter's play room.

Hanging in the play room... and older version of the plaque...

And a more current one I've yet to hang... it and the following are currently hanging out between some cherubs off of the Lost Ark of the Covenant....

And sans ripping a stanchion out of the ground, shoving it under your coat, and hoping the ghost host doesn't catch you... a bat stanchion...

Have some even cooler stuff on the way, and I have to build the frames for my stretching portraits...

You can't get to the junkyard (where stuff is bought and sold) until a certain amount of time/posts, but if you look up Rylo, he's the HM guru on the board. He's taking more of my $ for a super-secret project only 11 or so of us are in on.. It will be monumental.

I've been a member of the RPF for a while now, ever since our Pizza Planet Truck build.

The amount of coolness that seeps from that website is too much!

Being a Disney fan is really hard. So many people talk in abbreviations and acronyms. It's really hard to understand what a lot of people are talking about.

Are these pieces really bronze, or some other material?

    Welcome plaque is MDF.
    Older HM plaque is resin.
    Newer HM plaque is fiberglass.
    Bat stanchion is resin.

I have some cold-cast bronze items (resin mixed with bronze powder) in my collection, however not Disney stuff (Ark of the covenant cherubs, and one of my maltese falcons). Of my 3 Indy fertility idols, one is actual cast bronze... the others are gold-plated resin.

The one in the middle is about 10# of bronze
