Lost at Disneyland: Autistic Woman's Stuffed Companion

I came across this article today and I wanted to help in any way I could. Autistic woman loses Sparky, lifelong pikachu companion, at Disneyland | The Salt Lake Tribune

I know its a total shot in the dark but an Autistic woman lost her stuffed Pikachu companion of 15 years while at Disneyland on Labor Day (Sept 2) - I thought maybe there was a small chance we could help Disneyland's Lost and Found Department with some real Disney Magic!

    You never know...

(I know Pikachu is a Pokemon and not a Disney character, but still...)

Thank you Poisonedapples for my my my signature!!!

Re: Lost at Disneyland: Autistic Woman's Stuffed Companion

The article states that the first CM she talked to told her he didn't have time to look for a plush. That's really too bad. Last year, I bought a pin and attached it to my purse. By the end of day, the pin had fallen off. Luckily, I noticed shortly after, and alerted a CM, who took the time to retrace my steps with me while lighting the ground with his flashlight. And it was just a pin! Although I don't fault the CM for not knowing how special and necessary the plush was for this woman, I do fault him for not realizing how important it COULD be and for not treating her request for help with more respect and urgency. Customer service is really lacking these days...

I saw that, too. I hope they reported the person’s name to City Hall. Just another example of the decline in customer service these days.
