This is possibly more for the lifers out there - those of us who've been going long enough that we can remember back to the earlier trips.
What scared you as a child at the parks?
There's usually something - it's amazing how many truly early Disneyland memories really are a bit traumatic.
Mine's Adventures into Inner Space. I clearly recall my father jokingly telling me (around five year old me, natch) that the little figures in the queue rails were the people I saw going on the ride.
Fifteen minutes of sheer screaming meltdown later they gave up and wrote Inner Space off. Oddly enough I'd grow to love the ride over the next few years before it left.
So let's hear some stories! "OMG six foot rat?" "Why did my parents think a rollercoaster was a good intro at four?" "I just really hated churros"?
(snark settings to "stun" at highest please - this is a trip down Memory Lane, not a roll in Current Grievance Gutter)
