I prefer the California parks and if you can, take advantage of Airmiles. You can get park passes, best western gift cards, and flights. This can reduce the cost of a Disneyland vacation to the taxes and fees for the flights, food, transportation from the airport to the hotel and souvenirs.
I am an american living in Canada, originally from San Diego, now living in Vancouver.
I haven't been in several years as travel is impossible at the moment, but generally I incorporate a Disney trip into a trip to see family in San Diego. I generally fly on Alaska from Bellingham as its generally a good chunk cheaper then YVR and its cheap to get to Bellingham these days.
I don't use airmiles as its pretty much impossible to earn anything since the stores I shop at don't participate, and the stores they do participate over charge...lol
