Unlike some of the other Harbor Hotels (like HoJo's, etc.), the Holiday Inn is on the other side of the Freeway. It will be a good walk to and from the parks. Using an aerial photograph as a guideline, I would say that this Hotel is twice as far as HoJos (which some consider to be a bit far from the parks). My main concern is walking back at night, as the freeway overpass is huge and lonely. However, getting to the Days Inn ART bus stop also will require crossing an overpass:
