Assuming that Star Wars Land, etc is already in place for DHS, Epcot.

How about simply building a new park somewhere else. If your going for US customers plop one down somewhere in Texas where you can get cheap land and low taxes, then you can put more into the park.... Or if you want to get the most bang for your buck, go buy some land in Brazil where you can create a very large park taking advantage of low labor costs. Imagine a world where Brazilian teens don't need to be shipped to Florida to go nuts and can do it in their own back yard.

So which park does Disney need to focus on first?
    EPCOT......

    World Showcase

    • SWITZERLAND: Featuring a Matterhorn Bobsled ride (not a coaster, but actual bobsleds on wheels) and a shop that sells over 400 kinds of chocolate.
    • RUSSIA: Featuring a ~Peter and the Wolf~ dark ride, a formal restaurant , and a shop that feels like the Hermitage Museum.
    • GERMANY: Rhine River Cruise.
    • ITALY: Pinocchio dark ride added.
    • JAPAN: Bullet train 360 degree simulator ride.
    • GREAT BRITAIN: David Copperfield carrousel theater attraction (can be switched to -A Christmas Carol- during the Holidays)

    Future World

    • SPACESHIP EARTH: Gut and replace with new attraction using -Pandora Box- technology combined with advanced fiber optics to give people the experience of floating in space above the planet Earth.........think -Gravity- without the moronic plot....
    • UNIVERSE OF ENERGY(HORIZONS): Lose the dino's and energy theme...replace with larger than life sets depicting a typical city of tomorrow...the office, the school, the entertainment dist., the sports center, and home.
    • MISSION TO MARS: Replacing both -Mission Space- and the -Wonders of Life- exhibit this attraction will depict both the voyage to Mars and the Martian science base that can be explored once there (including an option to take a rover (old body wars ride) to explore more of the Red Planet)
    • WORLD OF MOTION: Keeping the ride system from Test Track, this attraction will take riders on a quick trip thru the past, present and future of auto-mobiling.
    • JOURNEY INTO IMAGINATION: 3 words, -Fantasmic, the Ride-
    • THE LAND: 1)New film for Soarin displaying unique landscapes from around the world. 2) ~Mickey and the Beanstalk~ suspended dark ride.

Both Mission Space and Test Track are too inspirational-less in their current state. Do you dream of one day training to fly to Mars or do you dream of actually flying to Mars?

Besides, I am not actually saying the ride system to Mission Space be taken out....just the whole "let's pretend to pretend idiocy needs to go

Why not just break EPCOT into two parks? The park is just too large and it doesn't work as a single park. it needs to find a natural breaking point. Test Track and Imagination will be absorbed into World Showcase and rethemed. Test Track becomes the German autobahn. Imagination is already on the way out.

The Innoventions pavilions will be the link between the two parks like the plaza between Anaheim's Disneyland and California Adventure.

The remaining Future World pavilions will be the southern park of the new park known as... Superhero World with the licensing issues resolved. The new entrance and new lands will be built into the existing Epcot parking lot.
A new parking lot will be built on the west side, next to the Yacht Club that feeds into the central plaza.

So which park does Disney need to focus on first?

    • Bring back the Sky Way to Tomorrowland to give the land an added dimension.
    • Convert the menu of Pinocchio Village Haus to Northern Italian/German cuisine with full service.
    • Motor Boat Lagoon to host an aquatopia type attraction based on either The Rescuers or The Frog Princess.

    • Restore both floors of the Starcade with unique~to~Disneyland arcade games.
    • Replace Captain EO with an Audio Animatronic musical show called The Space Bear Cosmic Hoedown......Big Al singing -Space Oddity- will be worth the price of admission all by itself!
    • Revert Innoventions back to a 21st Century version of Carousel of Progress/Horizons attraction.
    • SkyWay to Tomorrowland {fully enclosed cabins mit solar powered AC}
    • Replace Autopia with Hovertopia.....

Re: Idea: You're CEO and $1.5 billion is allocated to the parks.. Where do you spend

Honestly, the boring answer is WDW. There are so many things I'd love to see them do at Disneyland (like a new, futuristic, GOOD Tomorrowland), but WDW is much worse off then Disneyland right now. So I'd spend all of it there.

    1. The first thing would be just general maintenance and infastructure. I don't know how much that would use up of the $1.5B, but they need to hire a lot more maintenance people and keep everything in tip-top shape. They also need to retheme much of the Magic Kingdom and try to make it look as detail-rich as Disneyland and less like Disneyland from the 1980's (exept for Tomorrowland. Say what you will about the actual rides, but it LOOKS awesome). F

    2. Future World is also in dire need of updating. Just like Tomorrowland, it's not futuristic anymore. The pavillion concept is fine (especially there, where they have so much space), but they need things that don't get outdated so quickly.

    * I think that they could replace the Imagination pavillion with a moon base pavillion that featured things like a ride where you take a moon rover for a spin (possibly an Indiana Jones / Transformers style attraction?) as well as some kind of traveling through the galaxy type of ride (maybe like Soarin through the Universe with the most advanced Super High Def 3-D imagery available of the universe). Disney could even partner wtih NASA like they did with the 98 Tomorrowland for a few years and have some actual NASA gear on display (including a real moon rock!), and maybe even offer lunch with an actual NASA astronaut like they do at the Kennedy Space Center. For restaurants they can have regular food but maybe they can have it come out of a fake 3-D printer or something like that.

    * Next, they need to redo the Living Seas again. I don't mind the one Nemo ride, but don't make the whole thing Nemo themed. Update Sea Base Alpha to make it as futuristic as possible. Also, bring over Storm Rider from Port Discovery.

    * For the Land pavillion, obviously everyone wants to see a new film for Soarin, and then I think it would be fun to redo the Living with the Land ride to be like a people mover ride through a futuristic city where it's all eco-friendly and zero carbon and zero waste with urban farms, solar farming, wind farming, etc.. (see Masdar City in China)

    * Finally Spaceship Earth also needs to be redone again. I like the interactive idea for the ride vehicle, but it would be cool if it actually showed what the future of communications might be like. For example, the immedeate future would be video and then holographic phone calls. It should end with humanity using AI technology to help solve some of the problems that have plagued humanity since the beginning of communication, such as war, disease, hunger, etc.

    3. Lastly, for DHS, demolish half of the park from the Indy Stunt Show over to Lights! Motors! Action! and add Cars Land and a Star Wars Land.

1.) I've been all for a Sleepy Hollow dark ride for a long time (and have posted on here about it several times). Glad someone else would liek to see one too. Don't think Main St. is the place for it though, and I would definitely want it longer than just 3 minutes.

2.) Yes, the Tahitian Terrace would be a very welcome return!

3.) I'm glad I'm not the only one that thinks the Fantasyland theatre and the huge space it occupies could be better suited with something really wonderful, and I love your ideas sleepyjeff! However, I do think there would be something sacrilegious about doing away with the original Peter Pan ride.

4.) Mickey and the Beanstalk ride would be fantastic! Great idea!
