If Steve Jobs were still alive & healthy, the threat to Iger of Disney's biggest shareholder/legendary perfectionist might have been enough to allow Iger's representative--John Lasseter--to push through something great in Tomorrowland. Now it's enough for Rasulo, Iger, Staggs & Crofton to get optimists like Dusty & D23 members to hope that something great might come in at dwarf coaster speed.
Disneyland's Tomorrowland should remind us that Disney World isn't so far away.
For the next four years the most exciting thing coming to S. California theme parks will be the Wizarding World of Harry Potter at Universal Hollywood, under the Walt-like eye of Steve Burke. I wish he were at Disney transforming our Tomorrowland with his, "If you build it, they will come" philosophy.
