What would you rename Tomorrowland now?

Given that the imagineers are working hard on getting Star Wars into Tomorrowland, the "tomorrow" fits even less than it does now.

Since TL hasn't really been TL for some time (well, I guess you could count the monorail and innoventions), should Disney scrap the name all together, and rename the entire east side of the park?

...it would need to fit in with the LAND suffix, most likely ( although NOS does not held to this "rule")
...it would need to be generic enough to include the existing and future attractions, and not be stuck only on the SW franchise
...keep the Submarine Voyage as part of Fantasyland

As weird as it sounds, my vote is for GalaxyLand. You still include Buzz, Space Mountain, the Astro Orbitor, but can also include SW under the same umbrella. It's a space themed name that can include future or past. Some variations without the -Land prefix could include: Galaxy Plaza, Galaxy Port, Space Port, Nebulla Place, Outer Rim, etc.

Of course, it means giving up the Tomorrowland concept all together.

    Tomorrowland!

Instead of throwing in the towel .. I'd rather hold the company to their original standard. And beg and plead to let the imagineers use their imaginations and come up with original ideas, once again. There's no lack of imagination folks.

    Tomorrowland.

Have enough creativity to make the theme match the name. Walt knew what he was doing.

I have to agree with not changing the land name. If you want to dig out the old "Walt said the park would never be done" argument for changing things, fine. I agree with you. HOWEVER, there is a difference between changing the rides and changing the concept of lands with an overarcing theme. Change the rides, change the characters in the meet-n-greets, but keep that idea of the individual lands that we visit.

Goodness, I hope they don't change the name or the idea behind it. Otherwise you lose a huge part of what Disneyland is all about. Case in point - they will have to then change the entrance plaque to read:

"Here you leave the world of today and enter the world of Yesterday, Star Wars and other science fiction franchises, and Fantasy."

Ignoreland. On our last 4-day in park trip, a single TL ride was experienced (submarines for middle kid). The rest.... just no interest. We spend the majority of our time at DL in Adventureland, Frontierland, NOS, and Critter Country.
