I remember when that parade was at WDW at MGM (not DHS). The camel floats now reside around the Magic Carpets of Aladdin ride at the Magic Kingdom at WDW... and they still spit!

    Re: Jog some memory cells

I have a really weird memory (at least I think it is a memory). In the area where the Blue Bayou is, in Pirates, I remember pirates and wenches. What is now the dining area had a still scene with pirates and wenches. There was no restaurant. It was one of the first times I ever rode pirates. At that time (1968-69) the family only went to Disneyland once or twice a year if we were lucky. I remember being really surprised when the restaurant appeared.

So is this a memory? Any other old timers out there remember Pirates that long ago?

Memory can play tricks with you. I remember years and years ago I thought that the restaurant in POTC was located inside the faux windows next to the line before you get on the boats. I was wrong, obviously.

Old timer here... the Blue Bayou has been in its current location since Pirates opened in 1967.
