I think I have a fun idea! How about we have a meet up there for all the Whovians on micechat! We can come dressed as our favorite character and go on some rides! I think it sounds like fun, message me if you want to do it.

Just keep the screwdriver in your pocket when you go through the security checkpoint / main gate, you won't/shouldn't have an issue.

Yeah you should be fine. There are a LOT of Disney fans who are also Whovians. I know Steven Miller, the head of DisneyParks Merchandise, is a HUGE Doctor Who fan. He pushed to get a lot more Who merch over at the UK pavilion at Epcot (at first it was like 2 or 3 t-shirts... now it's even more shirts, posters, magnets, buttons and more).

That sounds like a fun idea! I would totally be in, but I don't have an AP anymore If it happens, hope to see a trip report about it!

    Re: Slightly Off-Topic Security Question

Well, unfortunate the #1 most frustrating thing in the travel industry is the inconsistancy with how rules are applied, from the TSA to immigration to tourist attractions like Disneyland, and what sucks is that there's no way to know for sure. You get in one line, the person lets you in, you get in a different line, they confiscate it and don't let you in and you don't get your money back either. My advise to anyone ever traveling anywhere or going to any kind of attraction is that if there's any question at all, don't do it, because you never know what the particular person you get is going to do.

I believe you don't need an AP to go.

OP - Way ahead of you! This is DS13 two years ago. He wanted to bring a mop but we said no ; the Sonic Screwdriver would be it:

And yes, keep the Sonic Screwdriver in a pocket or something. The few times he took it out, no one said anything, tho.
