It's officially listed to open 2/14/14 now on the TA page.

Old BTMRR trains, not matterhorn bobsleds.

I am planning to be there the week before.

They still have to round up all the goats, possums, coyotes and bats to put them back in their correct spot on the attraction.
Howdy folks, please keep your hands, arms and legs inside the train and remain seated at all times. Now then, hang on to them hats and glasses cause this here's the Wildest Ride in the Wilderness!!!

I would still love to know why the refurb went from 10 months to over a year. It must be another one of those Disney secrets.

I suppose I'll have to accept that I just will never know.

Yay! If that's true, it means it'll be open when I'm there. Not uncrossing my fingers, though, until I see it on Disney's own webpage.

Edit; Yay Yay Yay! I just saw the same date for reopening on Disney's media web page refurb list.

I heard the new meaning of BTMR is Big Thunder Matterhorn Remodel because they are using the new seats from the Matterhorn!
