Question Which face character interacts the most with guests?

I've seen videos of the Mad Hatter really doing his thing but does anyone else go to this extent? I want to experience this one day and just spend the day watching the characters.

Well, it depends on the person. I hate to give away any park secrets (sarcasm), but.......

**Don't scroll down if you are under 10 years old and/or still believe that the Disney characters are real**

The same person plays more than one character at Disneyland. For example, the same girl might play Ariel one day and Cinderella the next. So you might go to the park on Monday and find Cinderella to be super interactive and then go on Tuesday and find one that is less interactive, but all of a sudden Snow White is super interactive now.

Characters are "friends" with and talk to each other on a daily basis. Ariel can mention something that you and Cinderella talk about on a previous day.

It depends on so much, how you interact, the performer, how crowded the character is, how much time the character has before they need to go, the list could go on.

If you can catch Peter Pan early in the day, he's quite entertaining and often has more time to mess around with the guests.
Peter Pan: "You know, your hair is on fire."
Me: "Yes. It happened after a recent trip to Neverland."
Peter Pan: "Well, you can dunk your head in the pond behind us, if you want."

The most interactive characters I've seen are the Mad Hatter, Alice and Peter Pan. Sometimes Cruella as well.

The Mad Hatter has, so far, been my favorite interaction. Last time I was at the park, he and Alice walked me to the bathroom. (And were outwardly annoyed at my lack of speed - I wasn't in a rush!)

From personal experience, I have to go with Gaston. He picked out the biggest person in my party (me) and started belittling me for not being as manly as him.
On Splash Mountain at Disney World, these two teenagers behind me initially seemed friendly but when the ride actually started they started shouting the N-Word over and over again and jumped out just before the first drop and started stomping on the scenery.

Gaston doesn't make regular appearances at DisneyLAND. He likes to hang out at Disney WORLD.

Re: Which face character interacts the most with guests?

    Ssaamm has it correct.

The Face Characters are real Pros. The key is to talk to them as the Character, and make it interesting for them.
The standard routine is: Hello, Hello, What did you do today, Sign, Picture, Goodbye.

    Recent Examples:
I asked Mary Poppins about the way she pronouncs Supercalifragilisticexpidous backwards. In the Castle show she pronounces each part forwards, but in backwards order except when she gets to "Super". She says: super-cali-fragil-istic-expi-ali-docious becomes docious-ali-expi-istic-fragil-cali-rupus. I asked her why, led to a great dicussion with Bert and Mary about grammer

In the Royal Hall meet and greet, the last Princess was a "new", very young and cute Ariel. I was with a well know Cast Member. After we said goodbye, there were no guests. She started dancing alone so we returned and joined her. We then had a discussion about her six sisters. We were suprised that she not only knew their names in order, but what color hair and costume color of each.
Amazing, and we probably spent 8-10 minutes with her.

If you go the the Disneyland Resort website to order Annual Passes the pages look like this. I recognised the particular "Alice" and the next time I saw her we discussed the photo with her and the Mad Hatter.

When?! I have never seen or heard of Gaston doing meet and greets at Disneyland. I would LOVE to meet him!!

My favorite interactions have been with Cruella. Jafar and Frollo were fun, too, even being masked. I guess I like villains? haha

He is almost worth a trip to the MK. Last month we went and he was the only character we got a picture with...
