Re: Jingle Cruise - Disneyland Holiday Overlay to the Jungle Cruise

Hippos singing, "All I want for Christmas is my two front teeth, oh wait, I've already got those..."
"All I want for Christmas are the rest of my teeth,..."

"I wanted an Official Red Ryder Carbine-Action Two-Hundred-Shot Range Model Air Rifle, but all I got was this pistol that shoots blanks, and a bright pink onesie pajama from Aunt Marge...."

"Oh, look at those guys. They all got triple-dog-dared into touching their tongue to that pole..."

Yes, one hundred percent! I don't know why they don't do this anyway.

Oh you guys are the best!

    FUNNY FUNNY FUNNY!!

If you don't - Then the next time Tomorrowland is remodeled, you will see a land barren of any "Peoplemover" type attraction.

This should be a fun thing to look forward to. The Jungle Cruise is now a parody of itself, so a funny Christmas theme should be very appropriate for such a thing. And hey, just because some jungle outpost is many miles away from home doesn't mean that the workers have to miss out the festivities, right? I wonder if they'll also add some time-appropriate Christmas music into the queue radio as well.
The song reminds me of Fallout New Vegas....

I'd love to see them do a Halloween type event for this ride..while I like it...the same jokes after going on over 20 times...makes me avoid it

Could be interesting...although I think they need to be careful not to take it too far.

And now for the most dangerous part of our trip...the return to civilization, and the California shopping malls.

Haha! That was my thought too, about Fallout: New Vegas and a certain little eyebot named ED-E.

As for the Holiday Cruise.. I'd try it at least once.
Peter Pan: "You know, your hair is on fire."
Me: "Yes. It happened after a recent trip to Neverland."
Peter Pan: "Well, you can dunk your head in the pond behind us, if you want."

It'll probably just end up being decorations in the queue and at the gorilla camp as well as new jokes. Sounds good to me.

Oh...My...Gosh...this is the BEST thing to happen to Disneyland is such a long time! For whatever reason, I'm really excited about this holiday over-lay to the Jungle Cruise (Jingle Cruise). If done right, this could be such a cute (new) attraction and if it's well received, the could continue to make it bigger and better each season. Kudos to Disney management, I can't wait.

I've had a day to think this over, and now not only am I ok with the idea, I am excited for it. Such a simple thing for Disney to do, to completely refresh an old ride, which lets face it, normally has a 5-10 minute wait. A new spiel, deco in the que, deco the boats, add to the gorilla props. And again,. I hope this can be passed on to other holidays as well.
