Monday, Oct 21st, am, any special events? big crowd expected?

    that about says it....

is there anything going on that will attract a big crowd?
If I make the time to stop by, I have a really limited time (couple hours)
really want to see the Halloween decorations (favorite holiday)

    or the next Monday?

Halloween party days, is it more crowded in the am or less?

At this point in the game I venture to say that it is safe to assume that everyday at the resort will be crowded. It all depends on your own personal tolerance to crowds and what you find acceptable.

Wife says Monday is one of the most crowded days. She works the front gate.

The usual Monday or a bigger crowd like Oct 7th....
    I know you can't guarantee...
I'm just trying to figure out whether to shift some obligations

the 7th, the entry plaza was so packed I thought it might take 20 to 30 mins (maybe more?) to just enter
not effective when I just have a couple hours

or, do the Halloween decorations come down right away?
will they still be up Nov 4th?

    thank you ;-)

Re: Monday, Oct 21st, am, any special events? big crowd expected?

Well...one thing that doesn't bode well is that this Thursday-Sunday were the big Utah Escape to Disneyland (Utah schools have two days off in October, and apparently a lot of families use the 4 day weekend to come to Disneyland). I would think that most people who came out for that would be heading home to Utah today but there might be some residual crowds from that tomorrow.

Big Thunder Ranch is closing on the 1st to take down the Halloween Carnival and Space goes down on the 4th to remove Ghost Galaxy so if I had to guess, I wouldn't wait until the 4th to see the Halloween decorations.
Merida looks like this. Not a Barbie doll!

Thats a scary thought, not even weekdays are safe anymore
There is no right or wrong in this debate. It is simply a matter of perspective.

You would think that after the weekend it would die down. I was surprised about Monday as well.

Then... there are the special events... I feel sorry for people who travel long distances, taking time from work to hope for a less crowded visit and find some special filming or tv event going on. Stood next to a family from Europe who wanted to take pictures at the entrance to the castle, found the view being filmed.... I image the stage and all were removed later but they commented, had the known they would have come another day...
the turn out was low when I walked by, I guess a lot of people agree with me about that show.
I prefer my Disneyland with Disneyland, not a silly tv personality talking about herself
