A few more pictures of the fixtures in the Lillybelle. The detale and the level of polish is wonderful. I could not ask for better.

    Re: Lilly belle

after hearing all of the reports back from people who got to ride the Lilly Belle, i got really excited that us "normal" people were going to have a chance to ride.

we went on saturday, waited for the WK & asked the CM if we could ride the LB. the CM said, "That would be a negatory. It's only for VIP's & Club 33. Long story."

i knew that this is how it had been in the past, but since the LB had been back on the rails, i've read several reports (including those posted above) from "regular" guests that have been let on. i'm guessing that they only let guests on during training. what a bummer. plus he was so rude about it.

sorry pixie...perhaps the manager was around. Was it CM Bryan that told you that? Sounds kinda like what he might say. Keep trying -- you're bound to get lucky sometime soon!

It's still my hope that "normal" people won't get to ride on a regular basis--and that will mean in all likelihood, I'll never ride either. But that's okay with me, if it preserves the car, and the car's mystique.

    Just GORGEOUS!

Aww, Steve, you're not "normal" You definately have a better chance at getting to ride it than the rest of us!

Will it be available with the Walt's Footsteps tour, does anyone know for sure?
    Good morning, son
    In twenty years from now
Maybe we'll both sit down and have a few beers
And I can tell you 'bout today
And how I picked you up and everything changed
    It was pain
    Sunny days and rain
I knew you'd feel the same things...

    Re: Lilly belle

See todays Miceage update for more of my pictures. It was a great ride. Keep asking nicely. When I asked they needed enough conductors to have someone to stand on the platform to "watch" the Lilly Belle as you ride. I hope that the conductors have not stoped doing this. If there are prior engagments, please, don't get upset. Geting a ride is worth it.</IMG>
