Awesome ideas! This would be so awesome if put into effect...

One objection, though. Did you know that the Haunted Mansion was originally thought to possibly be a headless horseman ride? It got canned...

The Disney secret to making such fun is making sure that everyone leaves with a smile on their face.

I think many of your ideas can incorporate the villain theme with a touch of humor to the presentation. That way both kids and adults can enjoy everything.
Great thinking! Well, maybe not have ALL the characters SMILE. But that basic idea is good thinking

You know, I think I did read about that. But forgot. Thanks for reminding me. With this Villains land, that Headless Horseman ride can rise from the dead!!

    5) "Yzma's Ride". Using DAK's Primeval Whirl tech. This ride could be outdoors. With TENG art deco decorating/ theming the coaster. Facade and queue is the Emperor's palace. Yzma wants human guests to drink and test her potions. But Kronk pulls the wrong lever, and guests are thrown into a wild ride. With the guests shaken up, Yzma can't use us and releases us.
I'd like to add to this quote. BUT I STILL CAN'T THINK OF A GOOD NAME. The palace facade could have the Yzma's makeover when she thought Kuzco was dead. So queueing through the jungle (also where the coaster will be) then a little in the palace (mostly its the lifthill and station), guests finally reach their coaster transports. As the coaster goes up the indoor lift hill, Yzma and Kronk are at the peak above the track (like BTMRR's indoor lifthill earthquake scene and gold falling down). Surrounding the lifthill are the sort of banner decorations as seen in the movie when Yzma and Kronk go to the secret lab. So Yzma says: "pull the lever, Kronk" and Kronk pulls a lever. The coaster "dips" down away from the characters and Yzma says: "WRONG LEVER!". Kronk: "Oops, not to worry. I'll have this thing fixed in no time." Then the hip/jazzy/mexican beat chase music from the chase scene in the movie plays throughout as the ride music. The coaster rolls down to attacking crocodiles that snap their jaws at you. Then you go outside to the jungle and encounter jaguars, snakes, waterfalls, and other such creatures not seen in the movie. Finally the coaster goes back inside the palace/station to exit riders. Kronk: "Yzma, look! I fixed it!". Yzma:: "Congratulations, Kronk. Now where did they go?!" Kronk: "Ahhh..."

I don't know about the dialouge. But then again, this is just a watered down version. The queue and exit music is the jazzy score from the movie and other original selections.

I really like the idea of a new land, an almost anti-Fantasyland. And I have a somewhat good name for the Emperor's New Groove Coaster...Yzma's Cuzco Conquest.

DUDE. I LOVE SOME OF THOSE IDEAS.

My favs..."Forbidden Mountain", "Sleepy Hollow- Headless Horseman: The Ride", "Cruella de Vil's Motor Madness" and the Yzma and Kronk ride (love the dialogue for it, btw).

Maybe the Yzma one could be called something like, "Yzma's Secret Lab Coaster". And during the ride, you can hear Kronk, "Put your hands in the air!" And you know how every fast ride has a warning notice? At the end of the notice for this ride, it should say "Kronk suggests not eating spinach puffs before riding" or something like that.

Ooooo and THEN, maybe near the end everyone get sprayed with "potion". Then once the coaster slows, you pass by a mirror and there is a reflection of different animals in every seat? That would be kinda cool.

Ohh. Aah. I love your dialouge, warning sign, and potion/mirror sequence! EXCELLENT! Question: Would you say the coaster spins to your left or right side and look at mirrors (ala Haunted Mansion) or have mirrors hanging above you and you look up at them?

Which sounds better: "Yzma's Secret Lab Coaster" or "Yzma's Secret Lab Transport"??? I'm still iffy on the attraction name.

hey if they did a Headless Horseman "Sleepy Hollow" ride, I would like to see a Stage Coach style attraction - kinda in the vein of Indy but you could do more with it - just a thought?? Seems a bit TOO dark for Disney tho

Re: "Valley of Villainy" land idea

Mickey D, I was also thinking a stage coach or individual "doom buggie" type ride. I also think maybe the sleepy hollow thing might be too dark. But what was WDI creating when they were actually thinking of a sleepy hollow dark ride before haunted mansion came around? Some on these boards had a sleepy hollow ride idea for Fantasyland Theater.

^ Nah. Leave Toontown but make it better. I like Toontown. It just needs a boast in entertainment offerings. I already posted my ideas on some other thread...
