I noticed that yesterday. also noticed that they not only replaced a lot of the bricks, they added new bricks to continue the walkway around the hub across the parade route. I think they did this to make it easier on them for the fireworks.

"Stay off the bricks.. keep walking on the bricks." somthing to that effect.

Where are these new red bricks, exactly?

I never liked the brown pavers in the herringbone pattern.

I think the new "bricks" in the parade route are actually stamped concrete, whereas there are real brick pavers everywhere else. Maybe they did this for strength under parade vehicles? I think the individual brick pavers look the best...

I agree, the real bricks looked better. The stamped concrete just looks ... meh..

I wish they would stick to the real brick but if this is just along the parade route for strength, I have no problemwith it

Real bricks are better looking. The concrete bricks look good for what they are but are definately worse. If its because of the parade vehicles then it's ok.

Maybe give it a few weeks and the bright red will wear down to real brick color... Does that make sense??

Are we sure those bricks are stamped? They look like some kind of weird used brick pavers...that have been painted.
