Trebuchets mounted on the top of the MNF parking structure targeted to your destination, within fifty feet. Net not included.

I suppose they could replace Innoventions with a giant bounce house for people to land on

It's unclear how serious his injuries are.
There's no official word on how he fell from the moving tram.
10 years old? I was picturing much younger...probably a combination of a parenting fail and kid behavior fail. At 10 they should be able to follow directions...

They should finally invest the proper money and install a peoplemover that can deliver guests to multiple points in the resort, including that new parking structure they were talking about creating. Only issue I see with that plan is if a breakdown happens but I'm sure there is a way around that.

The doors on those trams are very difficult to open because of the tension on them. SO this kid must have been messing around with the door lock and then put his weight on the door. the only other possible way the child could have fallen is if the door did not lock properly or he stood up and fell over during a turn.

This is clearly bad supervision from parents

At this point I'm honestly hoping it turns out he screamed one too many times in someone's ear and actually WAS ejected.

Nothing appears to have changed that I noticed. No additional safety checks or announcements.

My thoughts exactly. 10 years old? I'm seeing major behavior fail due to major parenting fail :/

The trams don't particularly effect us, as we walk from our hotel when we are there, but this little stunt will most definitely end up with a negative outcome for the 99.9999% of people that follow the rules, keep their kids in check, and use their heads. For those people, I feel bad.

The key word here of course, is 'should'. And with anything even close to proper parenting, they will.......

Re: Just heard on our Boise 10:00 nightly news that there was a tram incident...

I remember on my last trip no second to last. I almost saw a little toddler get run over by the Disney Buses. It was by the loading and dropping off area by the McDonalds. Me and my cousin were going back to the Park and this careless mother taking to another careless mother let go of her toddlers hand. She forgot to get his hand and the kid wondered off the street and the bus barely saw him and stopped. I am serious that it was at least 2-3 feet away from the toddler. The worst part is that my cousin was the one who got him out of the way. Not the mother, then the mother thanked us and we shook our heads at her. Yup what a horrible experience but a life saving one. Hopefully the kid is alright and I do think it was because of careless parents.

You have to remember those roads are also shared with emergency vehicles and various resort transportation vehicles. On paper a people mover would sure sound nice but in reality, probably never gonna happen, especially with bad parents around these days ejecting their kids from moving vehicles.

Well I hope the kids ok...but man parents need to teach their kids to listen

From what I hear from my Dad...I used to get mad at him if before a parade he went over the line...I'd tell him he was not suppose to do that and he'd mess with me.....I've just never not got why you would not follow the rules as long as they made sense

My daughter will do this and she is 7. If you step to close to the line she tells you to back up.
I have an 11 yr old son that sits by the door on the tram. Obviously he has never fallen out.... Sounds like no one taught their child to not mess with the doors or something when in the moving tram. And I'm still puzzled on the ejected from the tram thing...how does that happen? Was he standing up?
