    You beat me to it......

Back to topic; I usually don't like images of real people in DL rides (all the capt. Jack Sparrows comes to mind), but the BB is different. It's refreshing, not annoying. Maybe because it's actual live people who are not being paid mega-bucks to have their image used, maybe it's because it's not the same people over and over, maybe both.

And yes, if you have the patience to wait for a waterside table, it's worth it!

    I really love the BB.

It's not too distracting and it's meant to look like a waterside plantation party, and the theming is really neat.

On the other hand, after waiting for a waterside table, having a particularly loud group of boats is very frustrating. "hey what are you eating!!!" Grrrrrrr...........
397 or 406 miles too far from DLR, depending on who you ask...

The Blue Bayou "outdoor" seating has never bothered me. It is in fact part of the complex story and texture of this attraction. The ride would be less without it.

Yeah, I kind of love it, it's such a gentle immersion into the world. It's pretty genius.
I also enjoy those little sneak peeks you get of the Jungle Cruise from the train cars, the view of the submarine lagoon from the Monorail, and the glimpses of other attractions you'd catch from the ol' People Mover (and even the ill-fated Rocket Rods). I don't know why it works, the way those lines between worlds get blurred (I know it's not the same in Pirates/BB...that's very much the same world -- tho' the people are not). But it's part of the magic of the place...that all those things can exist together somehow...Pirates and Princesses, horse-drawn wagons, singing animals, space ships...

We ate at the Blue Lagoon in Paris, and for us it was a simpler: "Bon Appetit" No questions requiring feedback while I was eating.

When I was a kid we'd go down to Disneyland with my uncle who lived in SoCal and one time when we were on Pirates he asked, "so are those people over there robots too, like on the rides?" I was so young I didn't realize he was messing with me and started to wonder. lol

I actually really like it! It's a nice method of transition from the lively queue, to the relatively lively, but somewhat muffled Blue Bayou/bayou area, to the eerier silence of the pre-waterfall tunnels.

And as others note, it's far less annoying than the people taking selfies and discussing whether they should jump boat rows.
