Re: Pendleton Shirts, Other Western Wear, Back in Frontierland!

I'm anxious to see the changes later today and will be rooting for the goods to gain some traction so we end up with a good selection.

I was able to see the shirts this evening. I now feel a little ill. All 4 shirts have the same label. The fabric is about as thick as a sheet of paper. I'm not sure why they even bothered with this.

I can deal with the "Made in China" portion of the label much more that the Poly/Cotton blend portion of the label. I'm not sure what is more offensive, Pendleton for allowing their label to appear on the garment, or Disney for thinking a poly/cotton "western print" shirt is blog worthy.

Sadly ironic how both are trading on the formerly high standards of their company names.

While you and others may find the blend of cotton and poly offensive, Pendleton produces the frontier shirt because people want it and purchase it. Pendleton produces 100% cotton. cotton wool blend and 100% wool western shirts, but Disney chose to buy the cotton poly blend. Who knows why they bought this one, maybe because of it's name. LOL Price could be the motivator as well. Frontier retails for much less than the wool blend or 100% wool shirts. I wish they had bought either the cotton/wool blend or 100% wool, as they are more indicative of what Pendleton is known for.
