Re: I might want to do the (nearly) impossible...

What was the cp pass you got for being stuck? Me and my daughter got stuck on mark twain a month ago for like 40 mins and were very bummed. Allot of crying kids and upset parents from having to wait so long for someone to come fix it. They didn't offer anyone on the ship any thing, Was just happy we didn't miss the parade I promised my daughter we would see.

If you get walked off a ride, they usually give you a readmission pass. Depending on the situation, sometimes it gets you back on the same ride only, sometimes it's an "everything in either park except RSR" or something in between. Essentially, it's a handwritten fastpass.

I've been stuck for extended periods on rides a few times and not gotten one; it only happens if you're walked off the ride.

In my case, getting walked off was not the ideal choice.

You know, that brings up a good point...what would they do if something happened with the Columbia or the Mark Twain and they couldn't repair the boat enough to get it back to the dock? Or it ended up being something that would take hours? Would they have to break out the cast speedboats to get everyone off the ship?

They brought a raft over for the maintenance crew who came in through a ladder attached to the bow of the ship and came in through the back. I would assume that they would use the rafts to transport them. HOW they would do it is beyond me.
