    Christmas eve past

As a long, long , long, time reader of mice chat finally registered and thought I would see if anyone else had this tradition back in the day.

Back in the 80's and 90's and until the early 2000's our family of nieces and nephews and parents and Grandparents would go to the park at 8am on Christmas Eve and stay till closing which if I remember correct was 8pm (could've been 7) and was never that crowded. Wow, how much has changed, we still go but without the whole family, and me and my wife we go right when it opens and come back home about 11, as we are Premium passport holders it works for us, however those days on Christmas Eve past sure are missed.

    Re: Christmas eve past

Not Christmas Day, but our tradition was for all the women & kids in the family to go to Disneyland on New Years Day when all the men were home watching the Bowl games. This was back in the late 70s-early 80s and Dland was pretty empty that day, and the majority of guests were women & kids.
