TOT and Screamin have the only reasonable wait times imo.

    Not too much change:

    Autopia - 45min
    Buzz Lightyear - 30min
    Finding Nemo Subs - 80min
    Frozen Royal Reception - 120min
    Gadget's Go Coaster - 40min

    Roger Rabbit's Car Toon Spin - 60min
    Space Mountain - 120min
    Splash Mountain - 70min
    Star Tours - 80min

    California Screamin' - 15min
    RSR - 50min (single rider - 30min)
    Soarin' Over California - 45min
    Tower of Terror - 50min
    Toy Story Mania - 40min

Mousewait has Pirates, Storybook Land Boats, and Haunted Mansion closed at the moment.
DL crowd index is at 89 while DCA is at 67. I would much rather be in DCA right now, that's for sure.

Does anyone know if Disneyland has reached capacity? Is it really packed? Hope that everyone there is enjoying the night!

    On a scale of what?

And what is "mousewait" and where does it get its information?

Ah: an app. And I don't have access to it.

I wasn't expressing incredulousness over the mechanics, rather the idea of so many people showing up.

Re: How insane is it to try to go to the parks on NYE?

The live Twitter feed on isitpacked.com has people saying it's super crowded. No word on if the parks are at capacity yet or not.

    Some updated waits:

    Indiana Jones - 135min
Pirates of the Caribbean - 60min
    Roger Rabbit - 90min
    Star Tours - 105min

    RSR - 75min
    Tower of Terror - 45min

It seems consistent that DCA is far less crowded than Disneyland. Seeing a 75min wait time for RSR at 5:40pm is pretty unexpected.

The mechanism distorts the queues - I've been forced to wait with parties in character greets where due to the issues involved a ten person line winds up well over half an hour. Two hours is a healthy wait, but it's also likely a MUCH lower actual amount of people in line than, say, a POTC or Storybook two hour wait would be.

I abandoned DL already this morning, the line for breakfast at RBT was on a par with the longest I have seen and it looked like NOS was half the line for PotC and half the line for HM.

DCA has been about like a typical Saturday. Not even the busiest Saturday, just a typical one.

Yup...we just did DL in the AM and DCA after lunch, then WOC for the countdown. DCA was far less busy then even last year and wasn't any busier than a typical day...not even a peak day. RSR was at 60 min early evening and Screamin was at 10 min!

We were there all day. Much lighter crowds than on Sat and Sun!!! Never hit "Phase 3", readmit only, let alone Phase 4 (turnstile closures.) Had a great day!! (Screamin' was 10 mins when we were there. Racers was 60 mins...)
If you see a cute yellow lab puppy with a yellow cape, WAVE! It might be us! (Or it may be someone else that lurks here!) Thank you for asking before you pet! Next trip, Dec 22-Jan 3rd.

Little off topic. I'm been sort of checking mousewait over the past month at random times. Screaming almost never has a longer wait time than 20 minutes. Why is the line always so short compared with other rides? I would have thought it would be one of the longest lines.

Re: How insane is it to try to go to the parks on NYE?

I checked Mousewait throughout the day out of curiosity and was consistently surprised at how typical DCA seemed to be in terms of crowds. I don't think I saw the crowd index go over 67 for DCA. Disneyland was at 93 the last time I checked around 7pm.
