Oh boy! I can just imagine!!! LOLBrer Fox usually screws around a lot...and gets away with it. One morning in front of Splash Mountain, just minutes into park opening, with no one around, Brer Fox and Brer Bear were sumo wrestling. When they stopped, Brer Fox came over to me and my baby stroller, grabbed my unopened Monster energy drink, and posed for a picture as if he were going to feed it to my four month old baby. It's a hilarious picture!
The guy getting off on GRR reminded me of a story. Grad Night 79 (God am I old). Anyway, a group of us guys went on the Peoplemover while our girlfriends were shopping, they didn't want us around for 15 minutes. We were in the ATIS building when two of my friends forced open the door and got out. They yelled at some folks in the store then ran back towards the ATIS loading area. We lost sight of them as we headed toward the Starcade.
As we were cruising around over the Autopia we could see that they entered a car three trains back. When we returned to the loading area we saw several CMs waiting. They asked us if we knew them and we said we did, but they are idiots. We left and rejoined our GFs who were at the bottom of the speedramp. We watched our two adventures escorted backstage. I had two GFs for the rest of the night and they didn't seem to miss them.
Several years later I heard of a guy who was killed doing the same thing on the PM. It wasn't my friend, he's still alive (by pure luck).
Oh no! So a couple of your friends got taken into Disney jail, aye? That probably made for a very interesting night!!! LOL
Awww! I love it when the parade characters remember you! How fun!!Sorta similar to the Five and Dime story, my girlfriend and I went to Disneyland last weekend and it was even my 120th visit to the parks! Anyways, we watched both performances of Soundsational because it's my FAVORITE parade. So much I dressed up as one of the chimney sweeps for Halloween.
Anyways, we were watching the first performance in front of the Emporium and having fun. We were mouthing the words of the soundtrack and I was mimicking the choreography. Almost all of the performers noticed and winked or smiled I my direction. I was having a ball. Then came the Mary Poppins unit, which is probably my favorite. So I continued doing the dance moves and then one of the chimney sweeps jokingly started to hand me his broom told me, "Would you like to have a go? it's pretty hard." After the parade ended, we quickly ran across town square and watched the parade as it went through the parade gates. This time, ALL of the chimney sweeps pointed at me and gave a big smile.
As if that wasn't Soundsational overload, we watched the second performance over by Small World. This time, both my girlfriend and I were both mouthing the lyrics and attempting the dance moves and roughly 80% of the performers recognized us from the first performance! They would be waving at all the other guests but when they noticed us, they got a genuine look of surprise and smiled the biggest smile and frantically waved/pointed us out.
Not only were these my favorite performances of Soundsational, but it was also a great way to remember my 120th visit to the parks. We made sure to leave a comment card at City Hall and couldn't stop thanking the entire cast.
