Captain America to arrive this spring!

Having made his debut on the Disney Magic cruise line, Captain America will be following in the steps of Thor and make in-person appearances at Disneyland starting this spring. Marvel announced the character's appearance this afternoon, and noted he'll be joining the "Iron Man Tech Presented by Stark Industries" and "Thor: Treasures of Asgard" attractions that can also be seen at the Anaheim park.
Captain America's appearance at the park is scheduled to coincide with the upcoming release of Captain America: The Winter Soldier

So they're keeping Thor and adding Captain America?

If this is true, this makes me ridiculously happy, and I SOOOOOO hope it's ready by the time I'm there at the end of April!!!

For those interested in it, it'll hopefully be as well themed as I keep hearing the Thor one is.

For the rest of us, yay, it's looking like another Innoventions addition that won't be intruding on the rest of the park.

Well, as long as they get a guy as good as Thor, I am so for this.

I agree totally that the marvel characters should be kept in there not roaming the park.

At this point, Innoventions might as well be turned into a S.H.I.E.L.D base.

I'd.. actually be okay with that for now.

There is no right or wrong in this debate. It is simply a matter of perspective.

Sounds fine to me. I haven't been in there in several years, and I'm not a fan of comic books so I won't be visiting Captain America anytime soon, but at least it would have a more specific theme and I guess it's vaguely, barely futuristic since they have futuristic gadgets and vehicles (like a flying aircraft carrier). More futuristic then Finding Nemo or Autopia anyway.
