It allows you to preplan a trip including FP times. Then when you get to the parks you were RFID bracelets to use as park and FP admissions.

yep...it's nice to have everything all I one place, but the fp+ only is terrible! Limit of 3 fp per day, all in one park, and some have tiering so you can only actually pick one good ride... Let's hope it doesn't make it's way out here!
No way in the world would they implement the system in the exact same way if it was ever brought to DLR. The reason for the 3 fp limit (plus the tiering) is because each park in WDW doesn't have that many must-dos anyway. It's a different situation in DLR since Disneyland has such a huge amount of tier-1 type rides. I could see them doing the 3fp w/tier limit MAYBE in DCA but even then it's only a stretch.
