What happens after the unload zone on HM?

I've always wanted to know, where do the Doombuggies go after you get unloaded on HM. Does anyone know the answer?

I had a disabled family member in my party once and we got to stay on the buggies and unloaded where you get on. Once you exit the buggie they just make a U turn, go straight for about 10 seconds, and then make a left down the hill/ starcase that you see them descending on right before you hop on it.

Yes. We were sadly disappointed when we once were allowed to ride through for a second time. It was exciting for the few seconds it lasted, but it didn't last long.

What happens? I think you leave the worst job as a ride operator at Disneyland. I would quit if that was my job. What happens ater the unload zone, i walk away wishing that cast member good luck.

Its a black hallway, with a black curtain on the left where the ride operation is done. I also rode with a disabled friend.

I wouldn't really expect the non-show part of the ride to look like much.
On a brighter note, I got to go on the HM again for the first time since the holiday theme was removed. It was neat seeing all the "old friends".

Yup, I ride that way when I go to the park with mom. Most of the time, there is a bright light behind the panels, and you can see some pretty standard hall closet-looking stuff through a couple of cracks between panels. Kind of breaks the mood, but then going back through the hall and up the elevator makes up for it! Waiting for all of the other disabled people to take the stretching room down, ride the ride, and then go back up the stretching room -- not so fun.

I've done the full circuit once myself. Just like a movie set, from behind ... looks like any standard hallway. No one is missing anything "cool" .. I can assure you that.

That section simply completes the loop so the doombuggies can go back to the loading area, I wouldn't expect that portion of "non-show" track to be anything entertaining to be honest, but I would still like to ride through it once just to say I did.

Probably like any backstage area. People will kill to see it when there's nothing even worth seeing.
