Were you able to meet them or were they just on stage?

That's bummer but makes me not so mad about being at WDW and missing BatB!

Wow, free popcorn and drinks? That sounds almost too good to be true. That would definitely bolster the perception that the Annual Pass is worth it.

That's just what I was thinking. I wonder how many more special AP events will be scheduled before prices rise in the Spring.

I'll be going to the Little Mermaid one tomorrow (Thurs). I heard today's wristbands went fast, we out by 3:30 or 4ish.
A bad day at Disneyland is better than a good day at work. But who ever heard of a bad day at Disneyland?

It was just Ariel in her Mermaid form and Prince Eric, nothing too special. Also, they had bubbles during "Under The Sea."

It makes me sad that some of the "special" appearances are regulars at WDW...the beast is at BOG dinner and Ariel meets in her fin.

we are in town next week for the alladin one. we currently have our world of color dinner booked for the same night. being out of town AP's we dont generally get to check out these sort of things. However I am not sure if this would be worth it especially if the characters dont do a meet and greet. Plus we got alladin genie and jasmine on halloween last year

I haven't been to this event, so can't advise you from personal experience, but it seems like if you have limited time, and are already planning on WOC the same night, and if that is the only night you have, you should stick with your original plan. That said, if you have more than one night at the parks, you might want to rearrange your sched to do both?

I lined up at 5:00PM last week for the 6:30 showing of Little Mermaid (got wristband at 2:30). Show ended at 7:50 and was great fun. I don't think it will work out to do this and see WOC on the same night. Have fun with whatever you decide!
