My wife and I are planning to introduce our 3 year old twins to Disneyland on Tuesday Feb 21. Has the hoopla from the 50th died down enough, or may we still face a packed park?
It has been quiet, but many schools have the entire week of February 20th off, I think the Arizona schools are part of that group.
You should find it a lot quieter than the Christmas time, but you might find some waits in the queues.

I don't know how this will translate to the 21st, but I was at the park yesterday (Tues. the 30th) from opening to about 12:30. I was really nice, not that many people at all.
from what iv'e seen, it's been pretty light, maybe wednesdays are the best time to go.

Last week I got there around 11 on Thursday, it was a little more crowded than expected, however that was finals week for my high school as well as for some of the local schools, so we got out early.
oh so I shouldexpect it pretty buisy from april 1st thru the 6th? thats when I am going. I hope its not to bed.
Vic and I were there last Tuesday. It was very pleasantly non-crowded. We were back again Thursday. Definately more crowded... but not bad. I think Tuesday is the lightest day of the week.

Currently, we are in Cheerleader/Dance season, where the weekends will be busy. Most weekdays should be quiet, but holidays and Valentines Day are busy.
Spring Break start March 13th. From 3/13 to 4/6, Disney is adding 3 extra hours to the weekday schedule, so they are expecting large crowds.
April 7th thru the 23rd is PEAK Easter Break, and Disney is operating on the Summer Maximum schedule.
Then it will calm down again until Memorial Day.

I went last Friday and it was pretty light! Actually got to watch Remember... and being able to move around the plaza to be able to watch it at the end of Main Street. Never been able to see the fireworks with room to walk around in! Very nice
We are going next week. We are hoping for light crowds. We are staying 4 days though so we won't mind if the crowds are there.

I went on a tuesday from 11 to 4 and everything (except Peter Pan) was a walk on
As long as it's not a perfect, clear day...the park will not be crowded. I've been going on weekdays lately and it's been really nice.
