    Re: Starbucks does it?

The conclusion to the other thread was that we aren't sure whether or not the new Starbucks in DT Disney is going to have WiFi or not
Grim, I lost her once; I'm not gonna lose her again.

funny how the park is supposed to be a place where we leave reality behind... yet most people cant let go of their cell phone or wi fi while inside.

Yeah, for Disney apps that tell us how long waits are and how crowded parts of the park are.

Hasn't happened yet ... but the next time I'm in rides like PotC .. and someone whips out their I-phone, and distracts the show for me... I'm going to let them have it!

If you have to play with your I-phone at all times ..even during a ride ... then you got something wrong with you.

Non flash picture taking should be fine. But with I-phones with their bright viewfinders ... so distracting.

Dear Peoplemover Fans, If you want to see a new attraction that at least mimics the 1967 Peoplemover in a future Tomorrowland remodel, you need to write to the powers-that-be, and let them know. If you don't - Then the next time Tomorrowland is remodeled, you will see a land barren of any "Peoplemover" type attraction.

Yes, some do definitely use the Disney apps a lot while in the parks, but I wonder if they're not in the minority. Sure, a lot of the other usage is still related to their park visits (ie. posting DL pix on facebook), not saying I haven't done the same, either ... but ideally it does seem like we should just be immersing ourselves in the experience of being there ... ideally.

Exactly. I'm not the one to judge, but I just plunked down $350 per person in airfare, close to $280 per person in tickets and God knows how much money on everything else. The LAST thing I'd want to do is waste my time with my cell phone! But that's just me.

Awww, I remember the good ol' days when we weren't strapped to a piece of plastic in order to survive life or enjoy a day at Disneyland.....or anywhere else for that matter.
