    No More Lily Belle

Someone posted on Twitter that the Trains are down for refurb until March 7th, and when it returns, the Lily Belle will be ONLY available to only Club 33 members and tour groups!

Disneyland Railroad is now closed thru March 7 - when it returns, the Lilly Belle car will be off limits to regular non-club/tour guests.

Have not heard that. If so, that will be unfortunate. We enjoyed our ride on it last May.

I suppose this is why it's never a good idea to put things off assuming they will always be there. Riding in the Lilly Belle at Disneyland is one thing I've not yet done.

If it's true that the reason it may no longer be open to the public is because it'll be exclusive to Club 33 members, then that's a bummer. Club 33 should have the perks it has always had, but closing things off like the Court of Angels and the Lilly Belle at the expense of the average guest is not the way to do it.

Wow, that sucks big time. I wasn't that upset about the CoA, but this is really lame.
The Mickey audience is not made up of people; it has no racial, national, political, religious or social differences or affiliations; the Mickey audience is made up of parts of people, of that deathless, precious, ageless, absolutely primitive remnant of something in every world-wracked human being which makes us play with children’s toys and laugh without self-consciousness at silly things, and sing in bathtubs, and dream and believe that our babies are uniquely beautiful. You know…the Mickey in us.

Wow... what's next you can only ask for preferred seating on rides if you are a club member?

That's unfortunate if it is true, but does this really surprise anyone?

    Re: No More Lily Belle

Club members and VIP tour groups dominate the Lilly Belle daily. Once when my family was waiting for the Lilly Belle I was asked 4 times within 15 minutes if a tour group could ride with us (lol I said no). So if this rumor is true then I guess they want it reserved for these high dollar guests. For now there's still the tender car ride on the train and the wheelhouse of the Mark Twain available to the everyday guests

I really hope this isn't true. I've only ridden in the Lilly Belle once but my girlfriend has never been on it and I wanted to take her.
If it is true then I pay my respects now.

Shhhhhhh! Don't remind them that there are still some extra experiences the average guest can do or they'll take them away too!

LOL, I'm sure they are quite aware of it, but since those two are low capacity rides (2 on the tender car and 4 in the wheelhouse) it would be tough to make those exclusive to VIP tours and Club members just accept that it's available to all, once upon a time it was a Club benefit

I've learned to take Disneyland rumors with a pound of salt until it becomes fact. If this does happen, it will be a shame. But honestly, I'm more personally impacted by the loss of Court of Angels.

    Re: No More Lily Belle

I don't this will happen, as it stands now it is hard for normal guests to get a ride on the Lilly Belle on any given day but it is not impossible. From the sources that I have heard, the Lilly Belle is just down for some TLC right now and will be back in May or June. I have a feeling that she might be switched over to the Holiday 4 Green train but for now Holiday 5 is still missing her "drumhead" on the end, but it wouldn't really matter much which train the Lilly Belle is on, as long as its in the park.
