I'm going to say that it is entirely and completely possible that they open this up before the ides.

They better have it open before too long. Can you imagine having this AND Subs AND IASM down for spring break? As if the walkways wont be congested enough.

The article linked says CM and media rides on 3/7, which is not the same as a "soft opening," which would be fully open to the public without official announcement. Is there another source that is rumoring a soft opening to the public on 3/7? I'm sure we'll hear about it here if it happens, in any case.

It's about time the walls came down!!!!!!! Who knew it would take over a year to complete when Thunder went down? Crazy. Hopefully it really does open in a week.

I won't be able to make it out to the resort in the near future (was just there about a month ago) but hopefully someone will have video up of this new iteration of BTMRR. That CM in the picture looks really happy by the way that the walls came down.

I'd imagine that they wouldn't take down the walls if that weren't the case. Would be a waste to clean everything up, make it presentable, and take down the walls if there was a chance to have to put it all up again.

This. They wouldn't be taking down the walls until they were pretty certain that all the major work was through. Depending on next couple of days of testing the final open date may move a day or two, but I'm still going to stick to by the 15th (+/- 2 days).

It was plenty crowded during Dappers Days, and that is only a weekend. Spring Break in a few weeks may be horrible, and they desperately need the capacity.

They have had some CM testing. I asked some CM friends, got one reply back from one that had ridden, but they said they could not discuss it further. CMs and friends and family will be riding it soon, 7th through 11th. That is why a rumor of opening on the 12th could come up. Of course There may be a AP previews.

That is why this crazy guy said this.

It's definitely a workhorse attraction consistently pulling in many guests and helping spread out crowds. It definitely makes it seem that another E-ticket further back in Frontier Land would help spread out crowds even more. But it's good that BTMRR going to be back soon no matter what the exact date ends up being.

You know…the Mickey in us.

Did your source say that CM Punk was gonna be at RAW this past Monday in Chicago?

Before anyone can ride the attraction (even CM's) OSHA has to sign off on it.

And people have ridden so OSHA is done with it.

When I was at the park today I noticed a bunch of men and women in suits going through the exhibit. There didn't seem to be any trains cycling through the ride, but there was one parked in the station. The group was discussing things on the platform.

I got a few photos. One VERY interesting thing is that it appears that they didn't change the lap bar configuration in the trains after all. Also, from what I could see, the town is back as promised!! I didn't get a photo of it (the CMs were letting people take photos freely but I couldn't get a good shot) but if you look closely on the left in the second photo, behind the people, you can see the top of one of the buildings.
