You just created a whole new merch line! They could come in Disney themed packaging. Call them D-Lights.

They don't, but at the same time there are far more places that sell Coke, and Nestle and the like then there are Starbucks, around me I run into those brands far more often, pretty much anytime I walk into a retail establishment some of those brands are present.

Or they could call the store "Light Magic"

I am not talking about the "Brand", I am talking about a true chain store.

Who cares if they have stores or not, a brand is a brand to me, and Starbucks of all the one's mentioned, is a brand I see the least, and is the least obtrusive into my life, so for me personally, I don't mind it in the parks since there are more real world brands already in the park far more common then Starbucks is.

You don't know what Light Magic was, do you?

I love it! Love it, love it, love it!!! I just wish they offered Starbucks coffee at all of their dining locations rather then having the one Starbucks and then their regular crappy coffee everywhere else.

I think Starbucks in the parks is a brilliant idea, especially from a business perspective, and I think it's been done, for the most part, in a charming and subdued way. There are multitudes of local visitors (who don't frequent these boards) who have yet to even know Starbucks is in the parks. The Downtown Disney location (which I visited today) is beautiful and finally gives life to that sad retail space.

And notice, the normal cups at Disneyland don't have the Dole or Coca-Cola logos on them... but anything from Market House or FF&P that isn't bottled has the starbucks logo, and as a Seattle native, I'm frankly flat out sick of seeing Starbucks literally everywhere I go.

FWIW, the soda cups DO have the Coca Cola logo on them along with the Disney design.

Frankly I dislike their burned tasting coffee and I dislike their Branding in the park. I don't care for the three pigs place in DCA, and the Market House is just sad. Someone has to supply coffee, and not everyone will like the coffee, so really its their conspicuous branding that really annoys me. I'm not one for keeping things in a bubble with DL. But the new Market House seems put together only to shove masses through lines with little thought to ambiance. I would be fine skipping buying the SB product and but I would still have enjoyed going into the place, as I like to wander main street. But bad coffee and no atmosphere, it's a lose lose situation.

I'm not sold on the FF&P cafe one, either. They have tried to stick to the theme, but it really rings hollow for me. There's no heart to it somehow. It's like they halfway thought, Let's pretend to think about what an old-timey place should look like, but stopped there. It doesn't "feel" right.
