Why yes, it was! We had no idea. We were guests of a member who arranged that table for us. No one told us we were sitting in a very special spot! Makes us feel even more special to know it was Lillian's table!

Of course, we now look up at that corner (from the ground level outside) and refer to it as 'our corner'. We'll now consider Miss Lillian in that 'our'!

We really wanted to do that, but didn't think it was fair for the friend who was watching our kids back in our room. That sounds awesome!

We had a table in the NW corner of the dining room. Is that the one?

It is, but you do have to have a late dinner seating. There are basically 2 seatings, so you have to be in the second seating or they will "hurry you up". We prefer the second seating for dinner for the same reason. Sit down and listen to Fantasmic!, order, have the amuse buche, appetizers, listen to 2nd fantasmic!, have soup, entree, slowly move to dessert..... Some of my fav pics are from being walked out after a late dinner.
If you see a cute yellow lab puppy with a yellow cape, WAVE! It might be us! (Or it may be someone else that lurks here!) Thank you for asking before you pet! Next trip, Dec 22-Jan 3rd.

We had an 8:45 reservation. We could have totally strung it out (I think the park closed at 11 that night). We actually left after park close, but not late enough as there were quite a few people still around. We got back to our room at the GCH at 11:45. I think you need to stay past midnight to get an empty park.

We went offseason when the park closed at 8pm and finished our dinner (6pm start) around 9:30. BFF & I had the fun of being escorted through a quiet and empty NOS & Adventureland by a very handsome young waiter who was full of C33 and Disney history. Main St still had a few stragglers & security so he left us at the hub. I'll have to admit, it was fun seeing the stragglers in 'park wear' do a double-take at us in our dressy outfits as we walked down Main Street!

Awww, in your trip report it says 1845 was your reservation time. Yes, leaving after 1230a or 1am is great...

One time we arrived and while we waited for our table, Chef brought us out a cheese plate to Lounge Alley. Very good.

Boy, how did I screw that up in my TR?

Here's what I showed the wife....while we were waiting for "our table" at Blue Bayou...

Finally at 2:30AM the staff told us we had to leave Very special walking through Adventureland still alive with all the background jungle sounds and then walking down an empty main st except for custodial washing down the walkways. By 3AM we were out the front gate. The whole evening was a once in a lifetime experience
    It went to 2:30!

I echo your sentiments my friend. I'm also lucky to have dined there once for lunch (in the Trophy Room no less!) and relished every moment spent there. That whole day stands out for me as one of my favorite experiences in Disneyland.

Thanks! It made it very magical. Best anniversary we've had. We really don't get to celebrate with the kids and all, but that night was astounding.

I've been for lunch in the past. Would really like to experience it in the evening. Unfortunately I have to go through so many channels at work to get a reservation that I can't always go when I visit.

As a former cast member circa 2002 - 2003 I got to see Club 33 while it was being cleaned and got to observe everything in the restaurant and take the elevator. However, I've never been able to dine there

I envy you all!! Thank you for sharing your experiences and pictures.
