Lovely kitty. Notice the 'clipped' ear? In my area that signifies that a feral cat has been spayed/neutered. Wonder if that's the same at DL?

Re: Please post photos of Disneyland's real cats

Sadly, I don't have a picture of any of the cats my husband and I have seen. Our favorite one so far, however, was when we were on splash mountain post drop and our log had done the u-turn and we looked up and an adorable cat was climbing up the mountain! It made us so happy and I tried to yank my camera out, but had had it stowed away pretty tightly to protect it from the water! Such an adorable kitty though!

I suspect the "clipped ear" thing applies here, too. I'm told they get regular vet care to keep them healthy, and they feed them. Some are spayed/neutered. All?

Disney does provide food, water, immunizations and birth control for those cats. It will lure them into being caught so they can be taken to a vet. They are essentially feral cats the DLR adopts.

Every single one of the cats on this thread looks really healthy and well cared for. I'm really glad that Disney looks after them.

And this really IS the best thread ever.

And here's a Youtube video (with an annoying commercial to skip and no visual proof that it's at Disneyland, but with a good looking cat to compensate for these flaws.)

And another that goes on a bit long:

And a third with a more distant cat, but an excited cameraman:

This is on the steps to the former SkyWay ride near Casey Jr. Believe this was taken in September 2007.

Last year, my wife and I saw a cat out in public near Grizzly and Soarin'. It was a drizzly day, and he was meowing discontentedly at guests walking by. It wasn't long before a line started to form, as if he had his own meet and greet!

And two photos from "DizneyPhotoGuy" in Feb. of 2014, so this cat is probably still here.

Thanks for doing the work! Went looking for them the other day. But way too many to wade through for me!

I've been going through different threads to add to the cat photos here. (Some other Disneyland cat threads had far more space used for discussion than for photos, but I prefer photos and have tried to add some here to help this one be more a "best of" collection of D land cats.)

I came across a 27 page thread of your Disneyland photos, DizneyPhotoGuy, and was astonished by all of the excellent pictures you've posted. I looked at every photo on that thread and especially loved night ones of DCA which showed its dreamlike lights. THANKS for sharing your photos! You're truly an outstanding artist.
