In Brea and we definitely felt it. Our neighborhood is on the right of the map below so we were right on top of the epicenter. Definitely felt in Anaheim. All attractions were evacuated and are currently being inspected.

We were there today and we left at 8:30. We just missed it.

live right across the street off Walnut, and it was pretty bad. I can't imagine being on a ride during that...wow....no joke, it felt almost as big as Northridge.

I'm about a block north of Disneyland, the first one was easy - the second was jolty and little scary as far as what we are used to - definitely knocked some stuff off of my bookcases and dresser. The rest have been small aftershocks.

As of about 30 minutes ago, this was the parking structure..

I would imagine the park is closing early for the day? I can't imagine Disney trying to reopen all the attractions with such little time left during operating hours, coupled with aftershocks occurring. Am I wrong?

They are starting to reopen things slowly now, and they will resume normal hours. Obviously, the fireworks and Fantastmic! were cancelled.

KTLA just showed an aerial shot of the river of people trying to get out of the parking structure. So glad I'm nowhere near that right now.

    Re: Earthquake

I live not far from La Habra and have felt most of the quakes tonight. House looks ok.
Ride closures are standard operating procedures at the theme parks. I was working at Knott's one summer day when a earthquake hit. I think it measured about a 5. We shut down the rides until all could be fully inspected and checked out. Guests were either freaked out or upset that the rides were closed.
If I had been at DL tonight I would have stayed at the park. If anything to avoid being caught in the bottleneck of traffic around the park.

That's a great idea, I imagine that a good number of people (most likely from out of town) would leave immediately afterwards creating a nightmare. It would be a great time to people watch actually, with everyone off of the rides and walking around in the park (or in the process of exiting).

Twitter poster 20 minutes ago said 2nd Fanstasmic! went on as scheduled. And the gates had been reopened for reentry.

Thanks for the update. I know the fireworks and the first showing of Fantasmic! were cancelled, but that was right around the time of the first two bigger ones.

    Re: Earthquake

Disneyland is already selling "I survived the 5.1 LaHabra, March 28, Quake!" for $39.00 at the exits. Lines for Dole Whips are back to Splash Mountain since fear that this was just a foreshock has people asking what's really important to do before. . . Knott's repots similar lines for Boysenberry Pie. Captain America is trying to bring calm to Tomorrowland while Roger Rabbit's freaking out only made things worse in Toontown. For 15 seconds this evening Heimlich's Chew Chew Train was a thrill ride.

Just kidding. The Irish part of me jokes in times like this.
