Not so upset about rides being closed in June now!! Premier passport questions!!!

So, I found out my aunt and cousin and her kids are going to WDW the first week of September and I'll be flying down to Louisiana to drive there with them!! This will be the best summer ever! Anyway, do premier passports have to be used in one year, like only until the end of 2014 or is it from like May 2014 to May 2015? If that is the case, I'm all for getting one if it will be the same price or cheaper! Cause I'm hoping to go next year for the 60th anniversary, too...

All APs are good from the first date used for 365 days, a full year. Not a calendar year.

The rule is if you have a DLR AP right now upgrading will not push back the renewal date.

If you currently have an AP and you know you'll go and that it's cost effective, then you should upgrade ASAP. As of right now the total you'll have to pay is about $1,011 after Florida sales tax (no tax on the California portion.) They will credit you the price you paid for your pass and you pay the difference. Disney World raised their prices a few weeks ago but the Premier pass did not increase. That means that as soon as Disneyland raises prices, the pass will go up $50-$150. If you don't have any pass, Premier passes can only be bought the day of their activation, by the person using the pass, at Disneyland/WDW guest relations windows and are good for 1 year from that date. No discounts (except Disney Vacation Club) are offered on the pass, so a renewal is the same price as a new purchase. Premiers are wonderful if you make multiple trips per year to the other coast, or will do 1 long trip. Check the current price of a multi day park hopper (unless your family will only do 1 park per day) and see if it's actually a cost benefit to pay the price difference. You will get 10% off merchandise and free parking, as well as the benefits of the "waterpark fun and more" option.

    Hope you'll enjoy Florida!

Yeah, I wanted a hopper cause I don't see myself spending a whole day at animal kingdom or typhoon lagoon. To add me onto their package would only cost me about 120 plus the 65 for the hopper. Can't wait to be able to explore the magic kingdom, Epcot, and MGM(sorry, old habits die hard lol, it will always be that to me!)

    Alice in Wonderland
The Matterhorn came off the refurb lists but a new date hasn't been released.
    Space Mountain through the 26th
    Finding Nemo Subs

Things could change, but Nemo and Alice are in huge rehabs so not likely to.

    In DCA
Grizzly River Run through the 19th
It's Tough To Be a Bug is going to start showing movie previews for Maleficent in mid April, this could extend for quite a while.
