    Re: Barbaraann's Magical May/June Vacation:

Well folks, I am now just two weeks away from my vacation. I still need to phone Super Shuttle, and make a reservation for a ride from LAX airport. It's not time yet to pack, but it's about now when I drag out the suitcase and the other smaller personal item, so I can start collecting/storing things. Collecting/storing those things that I don't want to forget to pack. I get them, as I think of them, so when I am ready to pack, everything is accumulated.

I have very rarely had an off day during my vacation. However, since I have a 7 night vacation with only a 5 day parkhopper, I will be park less for one day. Gives me a day to sleep late, and do other things. Not sure exactly what that will be yet.

Also, I usually visit the park from opening til almost closing, but this time I might entertain an afternoon ride back to the hotel a few of my 5 days. The parks are open super late, some days midnight. Checking the park hours online is very helpful. I have one Magic Morning, and I will do that on the Tuesday of my trip.

All I can hope is that most rides/attractions are done refurbing, and crowds don't slow me down. Although at my age, I tour at snail's pace anyway.

    14 days til my vacation.

Sure is fun to plan those vacations! Especially a Disney vacation!! Having a down day is a good idea with every other day being so tiring. Have you thought about a Micechat gathering on that day? Something out of the parks, perhaps at Trader Sams? Just a thought.

I am most likely going to take the Saturday off. I haven't really done anything at all in Downtown Disney for so long I can't remember. I have been to Trader Sam's. That was during an RCMC Meet during Anniversary Weekend, back in 2013.

When I planned this vacation, I didn't realize that it would coincide with the Stanley Cup Finals. Depending on what the Blackhawks do against the LA Kings, I may be walking around Disneyland with my mind on Hockey scores.

13 more days til my trip.

It's been way too long since we shared a Disneyland Vacation together. Winding our way down Main Street, or Pixie Hollow, taking pictures, and well you know the rest....

My vacation is 11 days away.

Tomorrow, I need to remember to call Super Shuttle, so I have a ride reserved from LAX to my hotel.

I booked Super Shuttle today. That was painless. One easy phone call. I had to pay $18 though for a one way ticket. When I fly into John Wayne Airport, that shuttle is always $10. Of course that doesn't include the tip, and I am a generous tipper.

I am glad that is taken care of, and I printed out my confirmation e-mail.

I am indeed. My husband and I are Wyndham owners in Wisconsin Dell's Glacier Canyon. I can use those points to stay at Dolphin's Cove. This will be my 4th stay there. I do like staying there a lot.

    Re: Barbaraann's Magical May/June Vacation:

Friday will be my first day in the park, and I am skipping Saturday. That is due to the fact that I could only purchase a 5 day parkhopper. Wish I could have gotten 6 days instead. Originally, I was planning a second trip in November, to Disneyland, and I was going to buy an annual pass when I got there. However, even that way, I would have been blocked out on Saturday. I canceled the November trip when I decided to go to Disney World in August. June 1st is a Sunday, and I am looking forward to going to the Sunday MiceChat Meet at Noon at the Hub.

I'm an owner at Dolphin Cove. I'll be down there in September for a week!
