Were the Monte Cristo bites equal to about half of a regular sandwich portion? Maybe I can try those and not feel sick afterwards. My first and only experience with the MC was not positive.

On a hot day there's nothing better than the Dole Whip!! Yummy

My favorite are the churros, but the pretzels & cheese are a close second. I had never tried a Dole Whip till my last visit in December. I wish I did'nt wait so long! They are amazing!!

Dole whip is almost too sweet for me. I love having a carmel apple while waiting in line for Peter Pan... and watching everyone that wished they had one.

Some other great food items are the pies at Flo's Cafe. I had all three (shared, not all by myself, I'm not that much of a fatty) and they're pretty amazing. The apple cheddar was my favorite.

That new drink at "Goofy's Blenders":
    A non-alcoholic mint julep
    one half of a churro
    a turkey leg, deboned
    and a dole whip
all blended together into a cold, meaty, tropical, cinnamony, minty, delightful meal-in-a-mug!
I LOVE the clear Duffy souvenir mug that comes with it for $19.95, pre-AP discount.

Or (also at the new Goofy's Blenders):

    The "Corny Country Coke":
    A corn dog, desticked
    a Coke
    a pineapple spear
    two small squares of fudge
and one half of a BBQ baked potato.

Now that's what I'M talkin' about!
Oh Disney, why do you have to love me so much!

Food you MUST MUST MUST have EVERY TIME at Disneyland!

And while we're on the subject of the new Disneyland protein shakes, I'd be remiss if I didn't include the Heart of Monte Crisco:

    One entire Monte Cristo Sandwich
    One cup of organic spinach
One and one half cups of Starbucks coffee
a fried pickle from the Carnation Cafe
and one cup of Crazy Cone pretzel bites

Just five ingredients! Michael Pollan fans, rejoice!
I love me some Heart of Monte Crisco! Thanks, Goofy's Blenders!
(In Australia and New Zealand I believe this one is called "Vegemite.")

List what you'll DIE if you don't get at Disneyland!

And finally, my favorite: The Hidden Mickey!

    One Mickey-shaped ice cream bar
One slice of pepperoni pizza from Pizza Port (itself a $13.99 value)
One half of a Hungry Bear Fried Green Tomato Sandwich
One half of a cup of organic kale.

The lines put you off! Dole Whip is the best snack in the park, then Churros and Turkey Legs!

My personal favorite food item in the park is the Banyan Beef Skewers from the Bengal BBQ across form Indy! Mmm!

If you are ever looking for park food recommendations theres a cool article on Disney foods (most of the food I had never even heard of) and the folks at EarzUp podcast did a show on the best places to find food (they split it up into categories like snacks, breakfast, price, etc).
