    WoC fastpasses

So typically when I go to the parks Fantasmic is my go to and I end up missing WoC. I'm going with my sister on Tuesday and she has yet to see WoC so, since Fantasmic is down, we're going to hit it up. Anywho my question is that, since it's not as new anymore, is it still imperative to get there first thing to get Fastpasses? We wanted to go our first night, but since we're driving down that day and won't get into the parks until around noon, are we likely to not get passes for that night since there's only one show due to limited hours?

They were giving out FastPasses well into the afternoon two years ago so I can't imagine it's gotten any worse since then.

You shouldn't have a problem, I've seen Fastpasses for the first show (or in your case the only show) as late as 2 or 3 in the afternoon.

I'll be there with my sister Tuesday too! We're planning on catching WoC on Wednesday night. I think Racers has taken the place of "must get it first" fast pass.

Fastpasses will usually stop 4:00-5:00. Don't worry too much about it. You will love the show!

One thing to remember is that WoC is only showing once per night now, as opposed to the past where it was twice per night. That being said, even with just one performance per night, Fastpasses are typically not booking out till mid to late afternoon. If you're going to try and get any FP's first thing in the morning, make it Racers

A week ago today, I was able to get a pair of fastpasses for World of Color well into the afternoon. We were put in the "yellow" section.

If you do one of the dinning package for WOC you will get a pass for one of section that is only for the restaurant.

are they still adjusting the color coded standing areas?

the last time I went to see the show, my favorite location was changed over to a reserved section. I'm not sure if it was for VIP reserved or the dining package.

Yes still color coded, if you want "Blue" section which is I personally think the best after "Preferred Dining" section you need to get your WoC pass towards the beginning of the day. "Blue" section is handed out first..

oh, yes, I know they are still using color coded sections.

I was wondering if they were still changing dividing lines between the sections.

    Re: WoC fastpasses

As far as I know the color coding of the sections has been as it is now for at least a year. I thought there was pretty much 2 different versions, although some minor tweaking between the major shifts, before landing on how it is now. I'm sure someone will correct me if that's off-base.
