Good luck to everyone going. Have fun and know that I'm extremely envious. (Though I'm not sure I could handle the crowds.)

I was thinking hypothetically about how I'd spend 24 hours in the parks. Is park-hoppping feasible when the crowds are this immense? If I had to stay at one park, which one would it be? Disneyland, which is sure to be wall-to-wall people, or DCA, which should be more manageable crowd-wise, but with far less to keep me occupied for 24 hours?

I would still say Disneyland, I think. 24 hours is a LOT of time, and I think with a lot of patience, I could still have a great experience, despite the crowds.

Park hopping might not be a good idea. At some point the park(s) reach capacity and they stop allowing people in, so you could exit only to find yourself in the esplanade with nowhere to go.

Were going , we got a room at the Disneyland hotel so we can tap out if we need to. I'm wondering if there is a better route to take then going down Ball or Kattela , were coming from the IE.

What freeway are you taking? It's hard to gauge when traffic will hit that day, so any way you take may hit some surface street slowing.

we usually take the 91 to the 57 to Kattela then park at Toy Story, but we hitting the hotel and don't want to sit in the parking lot that Ball and Kattela are sure to become. thinking of dropping one more exit south then cross over and make my way to walnut and come in the backside of Magic Way.

That's probably your best bet. Go around the Resort and come up Walnut and then make that right on Magic Way and you're at the hotel.

Re: Rock Your Disney Side 24 hour event - May 23rd - Who's Going?!

I will be in the parks with my three best friends for the #DisneySide 24 hour party. It will be there first 24-hour party, and my second (I did leap day).

I remember being able to come out of Disneyland and head back to the Paradise Pier Hotel numerous times throughout the leap day event with no real worry about capacity issues. That being said, I realize it will be crowded.

Shh. They don't know we're doing this. I flew out from the Caribbean (where I live now) and got us a room at the Grand Cal. Look for us. We'll be the four dudes in our late 20's wearing no costumes and maybe slightly buzzed off beer from Flo's.

This will be my first overnight at a Disney park and I can't wait! Hoping to get there by 1 or 2 PM.

I debated getting a room at the Disneyland Hotel but I figured I would barely be in it for the price.

My tech is trying to back out, so it may be just my coworker and I. I ended up getting us buddy passes to fly standby to save us the cost of gas (trying to convince my tech to stay in the game by making it cheaper). Either way, I will be there even if it's by myself!!

The flights I'm looking at have lots of seats available, so shouldn't be an issue!
