Re: What changes would you like to see be made to Critter Country?

I would be happy to see the return of the Keelboats and the Country Bear Jamboree.

I also miss the original name, Bear Country, (a honey of a place since 1972).

My family still calls it Bear Country. We're not good with change.

Can we also put Rufus the snoring bear back in?

Critter Country was so quiet and refreshing while Splash Mountain was down.

I don't know what exactly I would do but crowd flow or another small attraction by Pooh would be part of it.

adding a path to fix the dead end would be a wonderful plan. The problem I see is I don't know how you fix it. a walking path would be interesting, but it'd be a fairly long path and I'm pretty sure Pooh would have to be moved. As such, the western river expedition acting as a sort of way to get around it seems like a better plan, though it'd end up having a massive footprint on the park. So process of elimination says that building something outside the berm to expand whats there seems to be the better option for everything.

Aside from new things... Just fixing Pooh to be a bit closer to the Tokyo counterpart...Though I would love to see a Bambi-oriented ride added, or Fox and the Hound or an attraction themed as a nature conservatory that takes you through the forests of Critter Country. Though space is always a problem...

Instead of trying to make it continue as a trail is there room to include some themed open rides? Like A Bug's Land at DCA or Camp Snoopy at Knotts?

No need for another shooting ride.

In between Splash Mountain & the stores, I'd like an exit (never an entrance) to the Mickey & Friends parking structure on crowded nights after Fantasmic.

Re: What changes would you like to see be made to Critter Country?

I love Critter Country so the only change I'd like to see is that dead end. I always figured a walkway connecting CC to another part of the park wasn't possible and you guys pretty much confirmed that for me. So, since that isn't possible I would LOVE if the DLRR made a stop in CC. I don't know if that's possible either but it does pass right by the Hungry Bear and there's that little back area with tables that never seems to have anyone sitting there. It's a lovely, quiet spot but the downstairs can be quiet too. I'd like to see them make a stop in CC. It would make it much less of a pain trying to get to another area of the park.

It actually has two. One through the middle of Critter Country near Hungr Bear and the other over the entrance to Toontown.

    He's on Splash Mountain!

I'd like another ride somewhere in Critter Country. I don't really think it matters if it's a dark ride or thrill ride.. even though there are both those in CC atm. Critter Country is one of my favorite lands but I've always thought it weird that some lands have a ton more attractions than others (yes I am aware of space and everything but still) so I'd just want another ride/attraction for sure.

I like the idea of a Critter Country stop on the Disneyland Railroad right above the Hungry Bear. A fifth stop could mean an extra train which means less guests crowding the walkways. How they'd adjust the audio/spiels to get everything in that short length of track in between the New Orleans square station and the Critter Country is beyond me.

I think those are overpasses. "Grade" is another word for "level" .

I was referring to being seen by the DLRR riders. That being said... we've NEVER gone back there to the petting zoo/BBQ area. Maybe this next time we'll do it.
