What changes would you like to see be made to Critter Country?

Critter Country has been the same for quite some time now, besides the addition of Winnie the Pooh. What changes or improvements do you think disney should make to Critter Country?
Here are a couple of my changes:
    1. Expand and put in another large ride, maybe a zip line?
    2. Keep Winnie the Pooh, but change some of the scenes on the inside.
    3. Spruce things up and add some more color to everything.

    What would you guys change?

I think getting rid of the dead end, perhaps with a path around the back of Rivers of America would be a tremendous help with crowd flow.

As much as I miss CBJ, I know it's gone for good. But another animatronic show of the same vein would be welcome. There's already a big thrill ride and a dark ride, so something different would be needed.

Re: What changes would you like to see be made to Critter Country?

I'll start with Splash Mountain. I'd up the number of Fastpasses and enable Fastpass+ so most of the Stand-by queue ends up in the well-themed, shaded parts of the queue. Yes, the Stand-by queue will move slower but your wait time will be the same and you'll spend less time in the sun. Next I'd magically make the flume wider so we can get WDW's old 10 seater logs and almost double Splash's capacity. I'd also magically add a wheelchair loading station similar to Grizzly's so capacity doesn't take as a big a hit when guests with wheelchairs/ECVs load. As far as theming/show elements, I'd add a few more static decorations in between the mill and Slippin' Falls since I feel like it could use some more fruits and vegetables.

Pooh could use vehicles that are less ugly and just an all around upgrade in terms of animatronics, projection effects, and replacing cheap effects with something Disney-caliber. I don't ride Pooh very often but it's definitely in the category of "Keep, but upgrade."

The Pooh Meet-and-Greet should be rethemed so it's half Pooh and half Song of the South. Seriously, you just rode one of the best Disney parks attractions in the world and you're telling you don't want a picture with some of the characters?

The Davey Crockett Explorer Canoes river guide CMs do an amazing job so that alone justifies making the canoes a daily attraction, even in the off-season. I'd also like to incorporate Pocahontas into the attraction by having every male river guide's costume Davey Crockett themed while every female river guide's costume Pocahontas themed. The Indian village would get a Pocahontas makeover and several empty corners of the Rivers of America would get additional scenes from Pocahontas. I'd also like a 2nd loading/unloading area by Big Thunder Ranch so the canoes could double as a "My feet are sore and I don't feel like walking" transportation attraction.

Agreed on all of the above. The dead end is a drag and something needs to be done to alleviate night time traffic around tbe ROA during and especially after Fantasmic! The congestion is really bad when it lets out when heading from Big Thunder Trail towards NOS.

How about instead of a walk through they make it a "Transportation" version of Western River Expedition through the berm to the Festival Arena, fits the theming of both lands.

Shift the railroad out enough to allow for a walking path b/w Critter Country and BTM Ranch. Add another dark ride in the area, themed to Bambi.

No! You don't want to see a walking path on that part of the DLRR.

    Anything but this!

The DLRR needs this wilderness section to remain as is. I don't want to see thousands of people walking out in the "backwoods" between the DLRR and ROA. No, no, no!

The path should go outside the berm.

I completely agree with this. Same goes for Mark Twain, Canoes, and the Columbia. What makes that back section of the park so special is because you feel like you're in the Frontier and the only other people you see are on the Railroad or one of the water craft. As well, they'd have to put in a railroad crossing at some point over the pathway, which is a HUGE safety issue just waiting to happen (just from watching some guests at other parks with Railroad crossings) and there is a good reason why the Disneyland Railroad does not have a grade crossing over any "on stage" areas.
