    Re: Celebrity sightings @ DLR

    ^^
I have loved Julie Andrews for about as long as I can remember. I didn't know she would be at Disneyland that day, so it was a complete surprise. I was so overcome with excitement that when she walked past me, I screamed "Julie"! Not Mrs. Andrews or Dame Andrews or anything as respectful. Nope. I screamed Julie like a big dumb idiot. Of course she was quite dignified and smiled at me politely. Sigh...I love her...

I saw Dylan Walsh (Dr. McNamara on Nip/Tuck) on Wednesday around 2:00pm in the Animation Building.

I'm figuring that you didn't know that Ms. Andrews had a botched surgery on her vocal cords a number of years back and pretty much lost the ability to sing. I was moved to tears just about a month ago when I saw her and realized that she was singing again. I don't know if she has regained her range or intensity, but just to hear a few notes was the most beautiful thing I have ever heard. Glad you mom didn't asked her to sing. It could have been awkward. (Even though I've met Ms. Andrews and she is one of the sweetest people ever...even though she does have a mouth like a sailor.. LOL..but I just adore her!!!)

Talking Re: Celebrity sightings @ DLR

    Hi!
I saw Walt Disney twice in the early 60's. He was in the waiting area of the Tiki Room the first time and up on the umbrella platform area of Small World the second time. I was a child then and was too shy to ask for his autograph the first time. I waved to him at Small World and he waved back. Wish I had that autograph now!
I also saw Ricky Schroeder (he was still Ricky then) in the late 1980's on Main Street. I also saw Whoopi Goldberg and Ted Danson (during their dating period) at the Haunted Mansion.

    Celebrity sightings

What celebrities have you seen in disneyland? I saw Erik Estrada when I went a few weeks ago. I thought I saw Jamie Lynn Spears at one point. Who have you seen? Do we have any here?

    Re: Celebrity sightings

In November I saw both LaToya Jackson and Matthew Perry (Chandler from Friends) in NOS. Not together...but separately. It was very fun!

My son's best friend is a stand-up comedian and we went with him once. It was SO funny to see people asking him for an autograph! ha!

On 7/17/06, I was walking up Splash Mountains exit to go to the Singler Rider's Line. When Christopher Lloyd and his family walk right past me.

There are very few people I would break down and actually approach... he was one of them!
