    Yeah it was.

We (sis and I) saw him at DCA, he was very friendly.

I was stunned to hear he had died only a couple days later.

I had a chance to see him that weekend before he died at DCA. I had went on the Saturday to see some of the celebs but the "8 Simple Rules..." cast was going to be there on Sunday. Unfortunately, I had to work that day. Would have been so great to have seen him and met him in person. I loved him in Three's Company and always got a kick out of him on the Problem Child films.

    Never.

But I saw the set up for an event for the Dancing with the Stars stars on my birthday.

We're always having fun in the Fun and Games Lounge. Care to visit us?

In the few short years I worked at DL I saw a buttload of celebs. Most were from the press events that I worked. If not there, then grad nights. Lets see how many I can list...
    - Michael Eisner (boooooo!!!!) walking around backstage.
    - Mark & Brian (local radio celebs), during their listener parties
    - Tony Danza, Fran Drescher, Wayne Gretzky, Carrie Fisher, Elliot Gould, and all the rest of the celebs that showed up for the Indy press event.
    - Jaleel White (aka Steve Urkel) during Grad Night setup
Too many more to list. :o)

I litterally bumped into him at the Blue Bayou as he was exiting and we were coming in. He was with his children. This was years ago, so it may have been that same time as you mentioned.

I also saw Tom Hanks walking towards TMRR once with a small entourage. I saw Tim Allen once in DCA but I admit he was a great distance away and I only know (thought) it was him due to others in the crowd talking about it ("that was Tim Allen" "did you see Tim Allen?" ect...)

Once while checking out of the DLH the bellhop said they were expecting Michelle Pfiffer (sp??) at any minute, but we never saw her.

Wasn't the ABC thing at DCA? Did John Ritter ride on California Screamin' at all? Maybe there is some connection there... Just speculating...

Actually yes he did, he and his group were in line ahead of us.

And I did wonder that at the time.

    Re: Celebrity sightings @ DLR

Had an almost-run in with a celebrity body guard. It was Steve Tyler of Aerosmith, in DCA with his family, standing in line at Corn Dog Castle. I know this because I wanted a corn dog and went and stood in line at Corn Dog Castle. So I see that the "line" is him and his family. Ok, cool, but hurry up, I want my corn dog...

Evidently one of the security guards didn't like the fact I also wanted a corn dog (it's not like the place was closed or anything). He was a MASSIVE off-duty LAPD SWAT guy. So he came up and stood in line in front of me (ok, cool) but SO CLOSE that you could tell he was trying to intimidate me into leaving.

I mean, he literally was breathing on me, and there was less than an inch separating me from him. I thought about asking for his number "since you're obviously coming on to me" but decided against that.

He thought he could get me to leave, but sorry, bud, I WANT MY CORN DOG. He never crossed the line and stayed legal, I didn't have to call 911 on him, and I got my corn dog. I could see if I was imposing on their space, but I was giving them wide berth. A CM escort was there and it was nice talking with her.

Also Hugh Hefner, a few months ago. Dressed in one of those admiral-like yacht outfits including the hat, and followed (like ducks in a row, seriously) by a half-dozen very Playboy-bunny-like women. He was walking slow but he certainly had a spring in his step. I wonder why. Perhaps DL ISN'T the Happiest Place on Earth.

We were on the ride with him and family, Screamin - we didn't know until everyone started screaming (no not on the ride LOL) but as we were going out to the launch and he waved - it was very sad, my girls got autographs by the Test Pilot Grill

On that same day we were on Grizzly Peak with (who was that guy who was on the cop show and showed us his hiney????) anyways we were in the boat behind him

And then on that same day the girls (and a friend) and the girls were much younger and more giggly - went to White Water Snacks (I don't remember where I was) and met the bachelor and girlfriend Jen - boy was my youngest daughter smitten with that bachelor - they got pix, when I realized that they were taking too long I went and to find them and I saw them fawining over these two I was embarrased I had to excuse them, of course the 2 said it was okay - but Jen was beautiful I will say that!

We saw all the celebs that day - AND then on Super Soap Weekend met the entire cast of AMC - that is a whole nother post because that was a total blast and my youngest was about 7 at the time got us in every place to meet everyone cause she would say the cutest things to the body guards or to the celebs and they would call her up and of course being her Mom I had to go - it was way fun

Other than celebs that HAD to be at the park - we have seen:
    Nicolas Cage and entourage
Tom Cruise, Penelope Cruz and entourage
Heather Locklear, Richie Sambora, kids and entourage - all dressed in leather it was interesting
Bob Sagat and about 5 little kids and entourage
    Tim Meadows and family (SNL)
Cast of Disneys Boy World or whatever that show was - kids loved it they pointed them out to me and they got pix and autographs
    Sean Bean (oh wowza ladies!)
Danny Boneduce <sp?> some radio station thing - I had an in here, my brother used to play with Danny when they were kids and we lived in the LA valley - I did pull a few names but we talked to him when my daughter (I think about 8 or so) stumped him and the radio jock on a Hanted Mansion trivia question. That was fun!

There are more but I can't think of them - most times I'm snapping my fingers saying 'I know them' but can't think of it cause.....they look like you and me - normal people! Some tho you can't help it cause they are so outlandish - I'll have to dig through some pix and see if I can find others - I know we had autographs too, I'll have to find the Disney autograph books, kids were never shy going up to anyone to get them to sign the books!

I have seen many Celebs at the parks, especially when I used to be a CM...

John Voit, Ryan Cabrera (caused a big crowd wherever he went...screaming girls...), Matthew Perry, Aly & Aj (Do they count?), Christy Carlson Ramono, Drew Carey, Wayne Brady, Paris Hilton, Oprah Winfrey (caused riots of crying women wherever she went), Diane Keaton, Meg Ryan, Michelle Phiffer, Ryan Styles, Ryan Seacrest, Wilmer Valderama, Mila Kunis, and that is all I can remember off the top of my head.

I probably spelled some names wrong...

All celebs were pretty nice to us as CMs, except Aly & Aj...

Were the RHCP there on the opening day of Rockin? I would have loved to meet them. Unfortunately I wasn't there anyway.

I was there opening day and never saw them. Not to say they were not there. Would have been fun to bump into....
