    Re: Celebrity sightings @ DLR

    Does Walt Disney count?

I saw him sometime in the summer of 1966. He was up in one of the CM booths at IASW - grinning from ear to ear.

We stood next to John Stamos in the FP line for Soarin yesterday. He stood in line with everyone else, didn't even demand B1 like most people.
I would not have reconized him but his CM escort was talking so loud. He went on and on about Posh Spice and her paparazzi and how JS was always trying to stay incognito. The CM was in white shirt and black pants - not plaid. He, (JS), really didn't stand out. Seemed like he wanted to blend it so, I couldn't take a picture without being obvious.

That's very cool. I mean, John Stamos grew up in OC so he's a Disneyland regular from the good ol days.

That basically rocks the socks. It's great that he stood in line. Of course I probably would have pee'd myself standing next to him. lol

^^No kidding, He is totally cute - skinny, but cute. I was a little surprised the CM didn't take him and his 3 friends through the single rider line. The FP line was long too, it started at the door and took a good 20-25 minutes.

I tried not to stare or eaves drop. I heard a little about NYE in LV, but mostly I just tried to keep my kids from bumping into them - something I do for all guests not just celebs.

Wow! All right, that would qualify as the BEST celebrity sighting at Disneyland ever! How awesome!!

    Eee John Stamos!
    Good morning, son
    In twenty years from now
Maybe we'll both sit down and have a few beers
And I can tell you 'bout today
And how I picked you up and everything changed
    It was pain
    Sunny days and rain
I knew you'd feel the same things...

Mmm, John Stamos. I saw him at Disneyland when he filmed some commercial for ABC during the 50th. I always thought he was cute but seeing him in person, wow! His eyes are soooo blue! He's actually why I watch ER again. Lucky sdmom! I'm so jealous!

^^ I know, I wanted to ooogle him, but he was so low key and seemed genuinely interested in staying out of sight, I did my best to control myself. I tell you, I came this close to asking him if I could take his picture.

That is what happened to me when I was standing face to face with Matthew Perry from Friends. I wanted SO much to take his picture, but, he looked like "get me outta here".

Thanks for respecting his privacy, he probably appreciated it.

See I've thought about this... I talk to random people anyways. So why not talk to them? Not mob them... but just talk.
