Talking Re: Celebrity sightings @ DLR

On Saturday (4/7/07) we kept running into Donny Osmond with his wife and kids. The way I see it is that since his ABC "Dream" reality show flopped, Disney decided to fulfill Donny's dream and give the family a day at the resort.

I figured it was Disney who took the pictures? I don't think the celebs would be smiling much if they were sharing a bobsled or train or whatever with a paparazzi. ESPECIALLY if their children were with them.

From memory... over the years I've seen the following people (you can call them a celebrity or not...but I recognized them none the less) :

Curtis Armstrong - "Booger" from Revenge of the Nerds movies.
Saw him in Matterhorn line..... I had a big grin when I noticed.... he noticed and smiled back and I waved and left him alone.

Jaleel White and Kellie Williams - "Steve Urkel" and "Laura Winslow" from Family Matters. Was in line right behind them in the long Haunted Mansion queue... Recognized them immediately....but left them alone to their conversation with their friends.

Jeffrey Katzenberg - on a few occasions walking through the park. Again, exchanged smiles but left him alone.

Michael Jackson - Gallery balcony above (waving) when I was camped below waiting for Fantasmic.

On Tuesday the 10th we saw Joanie Laurer standing outside the hat shop on Main Street. She was really nice and very approachable. She asked us what our names where and shook our hands. My husband asked if he could take a photo together and she was happy to oblige. I snapped a quick photo with her and my family and then we were on our way.

For those of you who don't know who Joanie Laurer is she was a wrestler in the WWF named Chyna Doll and has recently starred on VH1's Surreal Life and Fame Games television shows.

    Alltime greatest Celeb sitings

This Tony Little thing Has me wondering what other celebs have you sited at the park over the years, What were they doing, were they cool or jerks?

As a kid I saw Jim Carrey once, he was hamming it up for people and then he even gave my brother a hug, he is such a cool guy.

I also saw Jonathan Lipniki form Jerry Magguire right after it came out in line for Indy, not as cute in real person he had messed up teeth

There's another thread on this just a few pages back. But FWIW . . .

    George Lucas (in DCA)
Tom Hanks & Rita Wilson (in DCA)
    Christina Aguilera (DL)
    Nicholas Cage (DL)
    Scarlett Johansson (DL)

There have actually been many more, but these are all A-listers.
